In the morning
I wake up and I see Avery right beside me.
"Yo Avery wake up." I said as I stood up to go brush my teeth and change into some clothes.
"I'm up..I'm up." Avery mumbled as he sat on the edge of my bed. I finish brushing my teeth and changing and I walk towards him and hand him some clothes for him to wear
"I already know you didn't bring anything wear do just wear this" i handed him the clothes and I left the room so he could change. When he changes and we both hate our shoes on we go to the bus stop
"Uhmm..." Avery looked at me "I didn't bring my book bag."
"Oh. That's crazy to be honest with you bro."
"DeDe don't be like that." He gave me a playful punch to the shoulder as we walked to the bus stop
"Not my fault you don't have your book bag. But we pretty much have all the same classes."
"Yeah you right. So can I just use your book bag? Like can I just put my things in your bookbag?" I nodded as the bus pulled up and we hurried up to get on it and into our seats. On the bus ride we just talk until we get to school
At school
Once we get to school I go to my locker to grab some stuff and I see the guy from the before walking towards me.
"Vampire kid." He said standing right behind me. I jumped a little before closing my locker and turning around. "I am not a vampire." I mumbled while looking up at him "oh? Why should I believe you? Vampire kid." He whispered into my ear as he pinned me to the locker. "Move out of my way. We're gonna be late." I muttered as I pushed him off of me and quickly walked to class.
When I get to my class I sit next to Avery and he slides his hand on my thigh. But then I see the guy from the hallway and he sits at the desk on on the other side of me.
"DeDe.." Avery whispered to me. "What's wrong?" I whispered back. "Can you read this for me?" He showed me his work and I read it to him. "Thanks ma." "Your welcome."
I continue doing my work then I look over at the hallway guy and I see him staring at me. I immediately look away and focus on my work but I feel like he's still staring at me. "What does he want..? Why's he staring at me..? Does he like me or something? No.. no. That's a little too far." I think to myself as I do my history Assignment.
All of a sudden he drops his pencil under my seat "hey vampire kid. grab my pencil for me." He asked. Well.. he wasn't asking. He said it in a more demanding tone.
"Just grab it yourself" I mumbled. He soccer as he stood up and grabbed his pencil and sat back down. "You're so annoying." He snarled while glaring at me. "Whatever..." I replied feeling a little annoyed. Why won't he just leave me alone? Maybe he's just an asshole to everyone. Or maybe he just has no friends. Whatever it is he needs to leave me alone. But..he's kinda cute..
Avery squeezes my thigh and I look at him. "Hm?" "DeDe. The bell just rung." He said while getting up and grabbing his book bag "oh! Ok." I put my stuff up and grab my book bag "you were thinking about that guy weren't you?" He said as we left the classroom "what guy? What are you talkin bout?" I said while looking back at the guy and then looking back at Avery.
"The guy you just looked at. The light skin one." Avery said as the guy walked passed by.
"I wasn't looking at anyone." I looked away embarrassed
