Chapter 5: Tsubaki and a New Arm

As Arthur walked through the streets of Orario he remembered what Finn said about a smithing familia.

Soon he found what seemed to be a smithy and walked inside "Hello?" Arthur asked as there was seemingly no receptionist. Seconds later he heard repeated banging which sounded like someone hammer metal. Arthur followed the noise to a room in the back, in which he saw a woman hammering what seemed to be a sword. The woman quickly noticed Arthur in the corner of her eye. She stopped hammering and said "How can I help yo-" She noticed his lack of an arm "Oh, can you wait at the counter, I'll be back in a second" "Okay" was the only thing Arthur said as he quietly stared at the dark-skinned woman leave the room.

Moments later the one-eyed woman entered the room from behind the counter "Hi, my name is Tsubaki Collbrand Captain of the Hepeastus Familia, what can I help you with" she said the first part with pride in her voice. "Yeah I need you to fix this," he said as he handed her Excalibur which was still damaged from his fight with Dragon. "But isn't this just a hilt?" to which he did his whole holy sword thing for five minutes.

Arthur finally stopped his rant when he heard Tsubaki giggle. "Huh? What's wrong?" he asked her confused. "Oh nothing, it's just weird to see an adventurer take so much pride in their weapon." to which Arthur looked offended again "I'll have you know I am a knight, not an adventurer, and not just any knight because I am the knight king."

"Ok, I can fix this 'Excalibur' but are you sure that you don't need a prosthetic?" Arthur responded, diving deeper into his delusion "Are you sure? That blade was made by the cyclopses themselves" to which Tsubaki just giggled again and pointed to her remaining eye "Good thing I am a cyclops" she said referring to her epithet. Arthur just looked at her in awe and said "About that prosthetic" "Yeah I'll need to take more time to do that but I can repair your Excalibur right now, you wanna watch"

She leads him into the back room where she started repairing right away.

Time skip - 30 minutes

"Annnnnd done." she said with excitement as she stared at the hilt that layed in her hands. "Here." she said while giving Arthur the sword. Arthur stared in amazement at the woman before he fumbled in his pocket for the money Finn gave him. "Don't worry about it, It's refreshing to see someone taking so much pride in their weapon, come back in three days, your arm should be ready by then." Arthur did a ninety-degree bow "Thank you very much" and he ran out of the shop.

"Oh, What is this? the innocent soul of a child in a teenager, interesting"
