Follow Me Chapter 2

That same night Helen was watching a movie on her laptop, it was the movie "It Chaper 1" from 2017, she's really fond of Pennywise, yeah she- she has a weird type but that's not the point. She sat down on her bed eating her popcorn and placing her phone next to her. Half way threw the movie her phone buzzed her curiosity striked again and she opened her phone, it was Mary?

Mary
-I need your help

Helen
-What happened?

Mary
-I need your help
-Meet me at the forest now

Helen
-Wait, why, can't
you just tell me
what happened?

Mary never responded but Helen had to go and find her.

After about 20 minutes Helen was able to see the trees from the forest it was so creepy yet so pretty. It was 8:30 and as she kept walking she started to see a silhouette in between the trees, "Mary?" Helen shouted, but there was no response, "Mary!" Helen shouted once again this time she got even closer. As she took a better look of the silhouette she realized it wasn't Mary, it was turned the other way but she knew, it was the same person from the video, blue jeans, yellow hoodie. The person started to turn around Helen froze, she was now able to see his mask, it was so unnerving but Helen got back to her senses and started to run.

As she turned around she realized that the hoodied man was gone, she called Mary and told her to leave the forest emidiately but when Mary respond a chill run down her spine, "Helen I never texted you, I was doing my homework and I was home all day. Besides didn't I tell you to stay away from the woods..?" Helen looked at hers and Mary's chat messages, nothing, there were no messages received nor sent. She started to run even faster now almost out of breath in the time of 10 minutes she made it home. She had ran so fast she emidiately passed out when she stopped inside of her house. Helen woke up about 5 minutes later, her mom wasn't home yet so she locked all the doors and windows and emidiately went to her bedroom.

She had a ton of messages and missed phone calls from Mary but she was to shaken up for replying to her. For an hour she was walking in circles in her room trying to make a sense out of this, "maybe I was over reacting, maybe it was just a prank, maybe I just imagined the text, maybe.. maybe.. maybe-" her thoughts where disrupted by her phone ringing.

"Hello?" "Helen, I've been calling you for an hour and a half, where have you been?" Said Mary in a woried tone. "I'm just trying to understand what happened, I mean I must have imagined the text you had sent me, but then again I should've remembered when you told me to stay out of the woods I-" "What are you talking about?" Mary interrupted Helen, "I never told you that, I'm still waiting for you Helen. You need to come to the woods now Helen." Mary replied. "What? You're- you are Mary." Helen stated in a horrified voice, "What?" She laughed "That's just crazy Helen, stop being so delusional and come to the woods. I need you to come to the woods Helen." Said Mary as her voice started to get distorted "I have someone that wants to meet to you Helen, come and join us." A now demonic voice was talking trouble the phone.

Helen hung up the phone emidiately after that, she was so scared and horrified of who that could be. How could they sound so much like Mary and suddenly turn their voice so demonic, who could this be and why is their focus on her?

Her mind was so blurry and her thoughts were so messed up, that she didn't even notice it was 10 PM and her mom still didn't show up, after sometime she finally managed to calm down. She went downstairs to drink some water and that's when she realized her mom's not home. "Mom?" Helen shouted, but no response again, she went to her mom's bedroom, to the living room, to the bathroom even back to the kitchen but she was no were to be found.

She sighed and went back to her bedroom, since she sometimes she used to be late she thought nothing of it. She lied on her bed and read some horror stories until she fall asleep, which she did eventually after an hour.

When Helen woke up the next day, she once again got ready to go to school as she was undressing from her pj's she noticed weird cuts and bruises on her body, "What the hell?" Helen questioned. She quickly put on her shirt and jeans, took her bag and headed to the buss stop. Before she left the house she realized her mom was still not there, "oh well, I guess she went to work early today" she mumbled.

At the moment she arrived at school Mary immediately asked her if she's ok. "I called you like 20 times and sent you so many messages, what happened, why didn't you replied, I was so worried!" Mary said in the most concerned manner possible. She sighed and explained exactly what happened. Mary's eyes widen, "You-you actually saw him? You saw Brian?" Mary was now looking absolutely terrified, "I think I did." Mary's terrified look turned into excitement, "So that mean, it means he's real, he's actually real!" Mary stated in an exited tone. "Who? Brian?" Yoou asked. "No, Slenderman!" Mary seemed thrilled for the rest of the day, neither of you mentioned what happened to the rest of the friend group.

As Helen was sitting in her last class, she opened her bag to take out her books, as she reached down her bag she noticed there were some papers she didn't put inside her bag. As she took them out she saw that they were full of smudged and disturbing art, some of the read "Help", "Leave Me Alone", "Always Watches, Noo Eyes" and so on.

She got freaked out and emidiately threw them away. During the lesson, as the teacher was talking she started to feel weird, she started to have a massive headache, she looked down at her desk and it was covered in blood. A girl next to her noticed her and screamed, everyone looked at her in shock. The teacher took a small tissue box she had in her purse and emidiately gave them to her, Helen tried to clean up her blood as the teacher told a student to go get the school nurse. Eventually the bleeding stopped and the bell ringed.

After going home her mom was finally home, she didn't mention anything that happened. She ate and went to my bedroom. At some point she start to feel dizzy, she passed out and woke up in an empty room, the lights were off, there were no furniture, nor a door, only a window. It looked like hers but completely empty, a chill ran down her spine, then all of a sudden she saw him. A tall faceless man with skin as white as paper wearing a black suit, with a black tie. "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?" Helen screamed as loud as she could.

"You." He said with the same demonic voice Helen heard from the phone. "WHY ME, WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT ME!?" Helen desperately questioned, he didn't reply. At that Helen's vision started becoming blurry and as soon as she closed her eyes she woke up on the floor of her bedroom. As she stood up she realized she had passed out for at least 2 hours. She stood up and grabbed her phone, the only thing in her mind was to call Mary, it was the only person that knew so much about Slenderman and thought she could help her. She called her many times but Mary never answered, eventually she spent her whole afternoon and even stayed awake all night trying to find something on the internet that could at least help her.
