Perhaps you've read the title and immediately started thinking that it is still far too early for Fire and Water to come to an end, since we are yet to witness the faith of the Black Ruby, Anubis, and a handful of other characters. However no matter how much I thought about it, this felt like an end of an era for Fire and Water. And since the events are far from being finished, I opted to split this story into two seasons as this evidently marks the end of the first season.
This story where I burdened myself by bearing the power of changing fates by mere words. For Anubis would’ve been blissfully happy if I handed him his first love, never would he go to the extents he went to nor would he condemn himself if he simply attained the hope he very much needed. And Yoongi would have been a heartless mass murderer if I had never crossed Jimin’s path with his, he would have done what Anubis had, or perhaps even worse. And Jimin would have lived peacefully not knowing the entire fate of a person depended on his feelings for him, feelings… Something he could not even control so how is it fair to have it attached to something as important as another person’s life.
But that’s simultaneously the beauty of it I suppose, since every one of you –dear readers- had the chance to project their own experiences and perspectives on each character and grasped things differently than I had. Perhaps even things that escaped me as the writer. And for that I urge you to leave any question that ran across your minds during and after reading Fire and Water in the comments and I will happily answer them all before starting to publish the second part.
And as I bid this part of the story farewell, I must thank you for sharing this journey with me,
especially since this is my first time ever writing anything of the sort.
Thank you for carrying this story with your heartwarming comments and uplifting dedication, I will forever be grateful for that.
