Jennie was panicking, pacing all over the room with her hand in her head. Oh god. The world was too cruel.

"Can you stop that?" Chaeyoung sighed from where she was seated on the bed, leaning on the headboard as she read a hardbound textbook. 'Anatomy for Dummies' it read. She adjusted her glasses, looking at Jennie who was chewing her nails off for the past few minutes. "You're only going to tutor her for a month. It's not that bad, unnie."

"Yes, I'm going to tutor Kim Jisoo for a whole fucking month!" Jennie exclaimed, plopping on the bed, her small frame bouncing as it hit the mattress. "A month, Chaeyoung. Every Saturday and Sunday. That's 8 days—192 hours." She emphasized, computing with her fingers.

Chaeyoung giggled, her shoulders rising up in amusement. "Oh, unnie. Jisoo-ssi isn't that bad from what I've heard."

"From what you've heard." Jennie repeated, rolling over so that her back was facing Chaeyoung. She sighed, staring at her desk, countless books piling up in stacks. Do it for the extra credit . She reminded herself.

Unfortunately, Kim Jiyeon, who was supposed to tutor a certain student, backed out at the last minute because of some conflict on her schedule. Their professor offered an exemption to a shit ton of projects for whoever would volunteer to take Jiyeon's place.

Of course, Jennie, as desperate as she is to lessen her workload, took the opportunity. Unlucky for her, that student was Kim Jisoo. Jennie didn't know her personally due to the fact that she only ever saw the girl in court during ball games, shooting hoops and other stuff that Jennie wasn't personally interested in. Although their Irene unnie kept dragging them to watch some sweaty women running around as if they're headless chickens. For all she knew, they had one class together and she has never ever seen Jisoo attend once.

Also, she assumed that every jock has some sort of attitude problem going on. No exceptions. Even Kang Seulgi, Irene's girlfriend, had one. She would always walk around her shared apartment with Irene and Chaeyoung with her shoes on whenever they invited her. Jennie just bites her tongue because Seulgi buys them a lot of snacks. She considers it her compensation for the annoying squeaky sound her shoes would make.

"You're overthinking, unnie." Chaeyoung snickered. "She's nice, it seems. Seulgi unnie talked about her once or twice."

"According to who?" Jennie faced the younger with a raised eyebrow. She hoped she heard that wrong. "Seulgi unnie?"

Chaeyoung hummed, her focus drifting back to her book.

Jennie scrunched her nose. "Do you seriously trust her?"

"Uh huh." Chaeyoung nodded absentmindedly, turning a page. "She buys us food all the time. That's enough for her to earn my trust."

"You're unbelievable." Jennie grumbled. She remained silent for a good minute before she let out a loud and frustrated groan, startling Chaeyoung in the process. "Chahee is going to think that I'm already hanging out with someone new,"

"Ah, seriously, unnie. Get over her." Chaeyoung's face contorted in disdain, cutting her off before she could continue. "Who cares about her?"

Jennie frowned, fiddling with the sheets. She didn't know how to answer that. Chaeyoung looked at her apologetically, her eyebrows arching. "I'm sorry. I just hate to see you sulking, unnie."

She sighed before a small smile crept on her lips. "No, you're right." She said in assurance, standing up and stretching her limbs.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to study." Jennie shrugged, going to her desk and pulling out the chair. "I can't really teach Kim Jisoo when I'm not familiar with the topic, right?"
