Recently, I have been inspired by AnOmoriFanatic's incredible chapter based on an even more incredible conversation we had about Mari. N01_m3 also made a book inspired by this, so I don't claim credit for the idea of turning this into a book!! Nonetheless, I was inspired, and so I started writing. I don't even know what happened but I blinked and suddenly I had like 5 thousand words????? And counting??!?!?!

This is definitely readable without any of the context, it's a stand-alone story that just took inspiration from the basic premise. But if you want to read Fanatic's chapter, it's in the oneshot section of their book. You should just check out their book overall, assuming you haven't already, it's one of the best Omori fics on the site.
