Chapter 10

ELIJAH'S POV:                                                                                                                                                                           Devin's House

Same Day

"Hey Beyonce, Hey Rihanna" I said as the two walked over to me pulling me in a hug "hey Elijah. How are you?' The bajan asked both women staring at me strangely.

" Am good you" I replied I looked around "what are you looking for?" Bey asked looking at me "where is Blue?" I asked all of a sudden I felt little hands partly over my eyes. I let out barely noticeable chuckle.

"Blueberry" 

The little girl gasped "how did you know?" she pouted "well I heard you moving to cover my eyes" I said giving her a small smile making her put even more, I got off the chair picking her up in my arms and spinning around making her let out a fit of giggles.

I stopped still carrying her in my arms "I watched your game"  the seven years old said as I carried her "you did?" I asked the girl nodded in excitement.

"You played so good, especially when you jumped over that guy and dunked the ball on him" She said excitedly.

"Well am glad you enjoyed the game. How's school? Are you doing well?" I asked I knew Blue was very smart, so grade was not a problem but I still ask.

She nodded "yes I got all A's in my grade and I also got a A plus in my homework you helped me with" I gave a small chuckle proud of her and seeing how proud she was of herself. But then I took notice of the small frown she had on her face.

"What's wrong Blue?" I asked she looked down, looking ready to cry "the kids at school tease, saying that my dad doesn't love me and I don't have a dad" She said tears sliding down her face.

Hearing this I instantly felt bad for her, no child deserves to hear that from the peers "Blue that's not true you dad loves you very much. Those kids are just being mean and jealous of you" I told her, before she looked to no believe me.

"They are not lying, they are telling the truth." She said lowly "Blue, that's not true" Beyoncé said now getting up and walking over to her daughter in my arms Rihanna following.

"It is, he does not hide it. Any time I try to spend some time with him, he tells me am disturbing him, even when he is just watching TV. He does not try to spend any time with me, he is always to busy for me and so are you" Blue said now talking to her mom, making her mother frown.

"Elijah and Mama Rob is the only one that create time for me no matter how busy they are. Elijah actually cares for me. He asks me how my day went and listens to me talk about my day. He always make me smile and laugh and is the only one to notice when am sad" Blue said surprising everyone.

"He used to take care of me when am sick and tuck me in bed and read me stories. He had tea parties even if it was childish but because it made me happy he does it.  He is cool and caring, he is my best friend and I almost lost him. I wish Elijah was my dad" Blue said now full out crying shocking the hell out of me

"Yes I would have been picked on the time Elijah was accused and people hated him but after everything was over I would have been a proud and happy daughter with a good father" Tears continued to stream down her face.

"Blue am so. Am so sorry. I had no idea this was how you felt. Am so sorry that I took part in making you feel like you weren't love or you weren't important and am also sorry that I made you push away the person that was so important to you and leave with the guilt that he might not want anything to do with you any more. I was a terrible mother and I promise to do better" The mother said pulling her daughter in for a hug as the little girl laid her head on her mothers shoulder.

*Sniffle*

"It's okay mom" She whispered in her mothers hold Beyoncé kissed her little girl in the head letting her down. Blue then walked over to Rihanna who she considered her other mother hugging her. 

"Blue your not alone okay, you have people that love you. Your mom loves you, Your grandma loves you, your aunts love you, I love you and am sure Elijah loves you just as much as you love him, even more" The islander told the little girl kissing her on the head, as Devin, Eric and Mel watched.

She looked at me and I nodded agreeing with Rihanna, she let out a small smile before turning her head to look at her mother "does that mean Elijah can be my dad?"

I nearly choked on my spit when she asked that. Everyone gasped in shocked at what she just asked. Her mother looked at her surprised before looking at me. I knelt down to her level "Blue you already have a dad" I told her, she did not seem to like it as she looked down a small frown on her face.

"Not she disowning her own dad" Eric whispered, Devin bumped into to keep him from saying more things.

"You know I got some UNO ya'll ready to play" Devin said pulling out a deck of UNO cards from his hoodie pockets. I silently thanked him as now the child was now focused on wanting to play UNO shifting the mood a bit. Although it was still tense.

We had finished the game and watched some movie appropriate enough for Blue to watch with us. By the time the movie was over, the little girl had falling her sleep on my chest.

"Can you take her upstairs?" 

I nodded gently picking the little girl up and taking her up stairs to guest bedroom. I made sure to remove her shoes before tucking her in. I turned on the ac putting it on low, so it won't be to hot. Then I left the room closing the door only to see Beyoncé and Rihanna waiting for me outside.

" Can we talk?"

Those three words alone made me panic.

A/N: Yeah sorry for not releasing early. But I have another story in mind it's basketball related pretty much like this but different.
