(ik y'all love Sodo smut, but like we gotta push in the fluff once in a while)

Major TW for depression/psychosis and a sprinkle of dissociation👇

I had just come out of a depressive psychotic episode and I was tired and a bit shaky. It was really rough, seeing and believing things that weren't even real. I decided to lay down and curl up in the blankets because I was super dissociated and I couldn't really ground.

I wished Sodo was here bc I'm probably going to be like this for the next few hours. A sudden creak made me stiffen and roll over. Sodo was standing in the doorway and looking at me with a hint of pity in his eyes.

"Y/N, are you ok? You've been really distant these past weeks. I just want to know how to help." He said, with evident pity in his voice.

"I have to tell you something." He walked over and sat right by me on the bed and stroked my back. "What's wrong, firecracker?"

"This might be a bit hard to hear but I have severe MDD and sometimes that can lead to depressive psychosis. And I'm sorry I was distant these few weeks, because sometimes that's what my mental health can do to me." At this point, I had sat up and leaned against his chest.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there with you, I kind of assumed you were mad at me for something. I should have been here with you. How are you feeling now?" He said, taking my face into his warm hands.

Hot tears started to stream down my face. "I'm feeling a little better, but I'm kind of dissociated right now."

"Don't worry, Y/N. I'll be here with you." He said, kissing my forehead.

He hopped into the bed to snuggle up with me. He wrapped his arms around my waist while spooning me.

"Wait, so that's why you kept saying you could see the weird shapes in the corner." "Sodo, that's not funny, it was genuinely scary." I said, playfully. He wrapped his tail around my upper thigh. And we slowly drifted to sleep.

(A/n: I definitely did not try to vent these past weeks into the fluff...)
