Agent Min - Part 1

You were drenched in sweat as you continued to punch the punching bag in front of you. You were angry, angry at yourself because the man you were supposed to take down during your previous mission escaped thanks to one small careless mistake of your team.

"Agent Jae?" a voice halted you from the hard punches you were throwing.

You turned around, only to be greeted by the sight of your best friend, leaning against the doorframe while crossing his arms.

"Drop the formalities Agent Lee" you said, emphasising on that one specific word as you continued to punch the bag again.

"Okay okay... Geez Y/N, chill dude" Felix said as he walked over to the place where your belongings were.

Park Y/N, a 24 year old detective agent, going by the undercover name "Agent Jae". Y/N and Felix both met each other during their trainee days and has been best friends ever since. They work at the police department in Seoul and Y/N is the head of the undercover unit.

"So... You're still mad at the fact that we lost that guy in our last mission?" Felix asked.

"Of course I am! Why wouldn't I be?" you said, removing your boxing gloves. "This is the first time I ever fucking lost in a mission!!"

Almost everyone knew that if there's something you hate, it's loosing. Being the head of your unit and also one of the best fighters in the department, you never lost. So this was an unfamiliar feeling to you and you hated that feeling.

"Well then, good news!!" Felix said as he walked over to you, handing you a water bottle. "The man has been on the run since we were looking for him and was apparently caught in Daegu."

"Good" you commented, as you took a sip from the bottle, not happy about the fact that he was caught by some other team which was not yours.

"I heard the other agents saying that the man was caught by the famous agent Min's team" Felix said passing you a small smirk.

Min Yoongi?? 

You choked on your water as Felix patted your back, laughing.

"Get lost" you smacked Felix's hand away. "When did that agent Min become famous now huh?" you asked annoyingly.

"Well he's famous in your mind right? Your childhood friend."

"That was years ago Felix and you know I hate that guy now" you groaned.

You and Yoongi were childhood friends. He was 2 years elder than you and the two of you were pretty close and had an amazing friendship. Within time, you grew feelings for him, but never once had the courage to tell him thinking that it might end your friendship. It was when he was 17 he left to Daegu which was his hometown with his parents. The two of you promised each other to stay in touch but that never happened. You tried contacting him for a long time, but you were always left unanswered, which made you stop trying.

And now here he was. The head of the undercover unit of the police department in Daegu.

The next day

I was making my way to the Chief's Office wondering why I was being called. Is it because of the mission I lost the previous day?

I knocked on the door as a deep "come in" came from the inside.

"Sir you called?" I asked as I noticed another man sitting in front of our Chief, Namjoon. The man was wearing all black with a mask covering his face so I couldn't really recognise who he was.
