"The boy has returned!" A women yelled.
Jake rushing down examining the boy for injury.
"Let's have a look at you. Okay?" Jake said.
"He's fine—he's fine. Just a few scratches" Jake finished.

Neytiri rushed down next, snarling at the boy.
"Lo'ak" she called.
"I pray for the strength that I will not pluck the eyeballs out of my youngest son!" Neytiri growled before using her hand to fake pluck his eyes.

"No, my son knows better than to take him outside the reef" Tonowari said trying to hide his anger.

Naluáh elbowed neteyam before whispering "looks like someone's in trouble—again" she cooed.

"The blame is his" tonowari said pushing aonung to his knee.
Jake just shook his head.
"Okay let's go" He said directing his family away.

"No. This is not aonungs fault. this was my idea. Aonung tried to talk me out of it. Really." Lo'ak tried to lie.

"Boy why are you lyin—" Naluáh was cut off by neteyams hand covering her mouth.

"Come on" Jake tried again.
"Lo'ak" neytiri hissed.
"I'm sorry" lo'ak finished.

The sullys all walked away, including neteyam.
Naluáh just smiled and waved before hopping back to tsireyas side.

"What happened to 'Keep an eye on your brother'?" Jake questioned.
"Sorry, sir" neteyam whispered, his ears lowering.

"I wish I'd been there. The ocean blessed you with a gift, brother" kiri sighed dreamily, thinking of the sea.

"The tulkun have not returned yet. And anyway, no tulkun is ever alone." Aonung said, trying to catch lo'aks bluff.

"Well, this one was." Lo'ak practically whispered. Naluáh placed a hand on lo'aks shoulder, trying to show him that she believed him.

"He had a missing fin" lo'ak said pointing at his arm.
"Like a stump—on the left side" lo'ak stared at tsireya as if he only cared if she believed him.

"Poor tulkun" Naluáh said quietly.
"Payakan. It's payakan" tsireya gasped grabbing lo'aks arm before turning to the others.

"Who's payakan?" Kiri intervened.
"A young bull who went rogue. He's outcast. Alone. And he had a missing fin" rotxo answered.

"I wish you had a missing fin" Naluáh rolled her eyes teasing him.
"They say he is a killer." Tsireya said meeting lo'aks eyes.
"Way to kill my mood" Naluáh whispered, crossing her arms.

"No, no" lo'ak shook his head.
"He killed na'vi, and other tulkun." Aonung shouted.
"Not here, but far to the south" aonung finished.

"No, he's no killer" lo'ak shook his head.
"Lo'ak, you are lucky to be alive." Tsireya said looking up at the boy.

"I'm telling you guys. He saved my life. He's my friend." Lo'ak tried to get the others to believe him.

"My baby bro, the mighty warrior, who faced the killer tulkun— and lived to tell about it, huh?" Neteyam tried lightening the mood, grabbing onto lo'aks shoulders, shaking him lightly.

Lo'ak grunted, shrugging neteyam off of him.
"You guys aren't listening." Lo'ak stomped away, tsireya giving him a sad look.
"Lo'ak, I'm listening" Tuk called after the boy.
"You Skxawng" kiri said Turning to neteyam.

Naluáh placed a hand onto his shoulder before giving him a smile.
"You we're only trying to help" Naluáh whispered.
