The setting of this fanfic is in omegaverse, so for those who don't know what an omegaverse is here's a quick rundown.( also it might be different from others you might of read)

In an omegaverse there are three secondary genders the you have apart from male and female, known as Alpha, Beta, and Omega.

Alpha: These people are at the top of the social network. They are the strongest, the smartest, and the most dominant among the three. Alphas can release strong pheromones that can have different effects on the people around them depending on their mood. Both male and female alphas can make other people pregnant. They go through something called rut that is similar to heat, but only comes one every 3-4 moths and lasts 1-2 weeks.

Beta: These betas are just normal everyday people like you and me. They can only sometimes smell the pheromones released by alphas and omegas when the sent is strong enough. Betas themselves can't release pheromones. Betas make up most of the population.

Omega: Known as the lowliest on of all three and is only seen for its reproductive uses. They are treated as tools for sex and will usually be treated as lesser. They go through a monthly cycle called heat that last 3-7 days. Heat will make omega want to reproduce and they will feel extremely hot and uncomfortable until they have sex. They can become pregnant even if their male.
