Chapter 2: Scrapes and Bruises

Hiiiiii!! I attached a picture of the guy who plays Alan Royce just so you guys could get a visual of what the character looks like. Anyways, on with the story!

Alan's p.o.v.: I woke up at 4 in the morning. Ugh. Its Monday, I have school, shouldn't I be able to sleep til I have to get up at 6? I mean for Gods sake I didn't get to sleep til 1! (A/N anyone else notice the similarity in the sleeping schedules?;) ) I stare at the ceiling fan and think about life. I know that sounds lame but its true. After about thirty minutes of thinking about soulmates and stuff, I grab my phone. I see a blue notifican light and that means I have a FaceBook notification. I unlock my phone and look at the notification. It reads, 'Nicole Williams has requested to be your friend' I smile to myself and accept it. She's really pretty, but I'm too nervous to talk to her. I get up and put on some gym clothes and grab my phone and my ear buds and head out of the house. I decided, if I'm up, I might as well go on a run. I get outside and plug in my ear buds. I scroll until I find Pandora. I go to my 'Panic! At The Disco' radio and "This Is Gospel," comes on. I am literally in love with this song! I put my phone in my gym shorts pocket and start jogging. I decide to quietly sing along as I run. "If you love me let me go. Cause these words are knives and often leave scars. The fear of falling apart. Truth be told I never was yours. The fear, the fear of falling apart" I have a pretty decent voice, I think. I mean, I'm in showchoir. I have third block showchoir with Nicole. She's an amazing singer. I continue running for a long time. When I check the time, its 5:50. I start heading back to my house because, I have a long run back and I still need to shower!

Its 6 and I'm close to home because I took a short cut. I look to my right and see Nicole's house. I look at it for a few moments when I see her. She's checking her phone and smiling. I wonder what she's doing. I smile and keep running. I finally get back to my house at 6:04. Not too far off schedule. I grab a water bottle from the fridge and run upstairs.

After my shower I put on a Blue shirt that has darker blue shoulders and a pair of jeans. I slide on some shoes and fix my light brown hair. I look at my reflection and decide I look okay. My Grey eyes looked tired as mess but that's what I get for only getting three hours of sleep and then going on a run haha! I grab my car keys and head down stairs. I grab a piece of bread and walk out the door. My cars pretty cool I have to admit. It's Black Audi A4. I hop in and start driving to school. Being the popular kid it should be fun right? Wrong.
