Hoseok my bestfriend slings his arm over my shoulder as he wishes me a happy birthday. We're up in the land of angels which is ruled by my eldest brother Jin who's right now training our middle sibling Yoongi the rules and decorum once it's his turn to rule. Once turn 25 years old angels and demons both stop aging any further. Us angels have a rule where we visit the world of humans once when we're wee little angels and once we turn 18 years old we're sent to Earth to watch over a human like a guardian angel but the catch is we're partnered up with a devil too.
To be fair demons and angels don't necessarily have any hostilities between each other but there sure are a lot of clashes in decision makings what with naughtiness and innocence driving against each other. I went to the land of humans years ago and along my stay of a few days I met this young halfling , Jungkook who was such a sweet adorable kid to me , we became fast friends and once I moved back here we stayed in touch by becoming pen pals.
A demon halfling is basically the spawn of both a demon and human and since the young fragile body of a human demon mix can't really withstand the harsh environment of the demon realm halflings opt to living with their human parent in Earth and yes human do know about the systems of angels and demons. Its kind of frowned upon for races to mix but I personally find it fascinating.
Anyways now that I'm 18 years old tomorrow I get to go back to Earth and observe the changes that have occured and the new experiences I'll gain. Hoseok my bestfriend will be my guide for a week and then as he leaves me I will then get to meet my partner who I gotta say I'm really eager to meet.
"Sire we have a mix up with the new dead human that's arrived and you're needed"
" Well then Y/N I'll come meet you over at your birthday party in the evening for now play around with Yoongi and Hoseok who I trust will look after you well"
"Yeah yeah I'm sure these two kids will need me to look after them so carry on Jin"
" Oh boy this is going to be fun......Bye big brother , Hoseok come on lets run quickly , HA too slow to catch us now huh Yoongi"
" I swear to myself these kids are such a handful"
"Hurry up Yoongi , Y/N is tiring me out already so catch up quickly"
Laughter fills the main hall of the realm as Hoseok and Y/N run with Yoongi chasing them.
