The Invitation

Author's Note: Hey anyone who happened to find this story! I know there's a lot of fan fiction about this and I love it so I'm just going to try it. Hope you like it! (P.S. Everyone is still single. But Tobias has shown Tris his fear landscape. All dead characters are still alive.)

Tris's POV

"TRIS!!!!!!!!!" I heard someone shout from behind me. I whipped my head around to see Uriah running towards me. "Candor or Dauntless. My place. Seven o'clock. Be there." He said. "ummmmm... what's candor or dauntless?" I asked. "WHAT! YOU DONT KNOW WHAT CANDOR OR DAUNTLESS IS???" Uriah shouted at the top of his lungs. People were already starting to stare.... "No, I don't because in Abnegation we were not allowed to play games. It was considered self-indulgent. And for the sake of everyone's eardrums, please quiet down." I said staring at him.

"Whatever, it's simple, really. You pick candor or dauntless when someone asks you. If you pick candor, you answer the question they ask you truthfully. If you pick dauntless, you do the dare they ask you to do. The penalty of not doing the truth or dare is to take off an article of clothing. Shoes and socks not counted." Uriah said before running off.

I rolled my eyes and walked back to my apartment, just before I was about to open the door, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I turned around, only to see Christina. "TRIS! WERE YOU INVITED TO THE CANDOR OR DAUNTLESS PARTY? I BET YOU WERE! LETS GO SHOPPING!!!" Christina shouted excitedly. "Really?! What is it with shouting these days? And no way are we going shopping!" I said in protest. "OH YES WE ARE!" Christina shouted once more as she grabbed my hand and pulled me away. I groaned and shook my head in protest as I yanked her hand off me.

"OH COME ON TRIS! DONT YOU WANT TO LOOK GOOD FOR FOUR???" Christina shouted and I blushed in embarrassment. "wh...what do you mean?" I said nervously. "Oh, quit it Tris. It's soooooooo obvious! Let's just go already!" Christina said as she dragged me to the shops at Dauntless. This time, I just rolled my eyes and followed her.
