I was going upstairs to clean another room with Emma but the manager stopped me.
"Arlene, what did you do last night?" He folded his arms as his eyebrows arched.
I knew I was done for. Emma left me to handle with the manager alone. I was about to lose this job and I could feel my heart break apart, shattering into thousands of tiny pieces.
"You were amazing. Drew says- I mean the guest says that he wants you to clean his room again. He specifically said your name." The manager was excited. "Go now."
My heart was beating with happiness because this was the first ever time I received a compliment in this hotel. My lips lifted up into a huge smile before I nodded. "Sure."

I was peacefully cleaning that huge room once again but the door opened and the man stood at the entrance. It was Drew. His long brown hair weren't tied into a ponytail but when he entered the room and saw me, he quickly tied them.
Flustered I ran into the kitchen and pretended that I had to clean something but in reality I was trying to calm my heartbeat. If he brought up the questions like why I was sleeping in his room, I'd be dead. He would have me fired instantly.
I gathered some courage and walked back to the living room where he had now placed himself on the armchair.
He looked up at me with his gorgeous blue eyes. "Are you ignoring me?"
My head shook briskly. "No." I realised that I should have apologised him but instead he smirked.
"I'm sorry if I scared you yesterday. I saw you sleeping on my bed and I didn't want to disturb you." He ran his fingers through his dark hair.
"No sir, you don't have to apologise." I swallowed with nervousness. "Can you keep it a secret? If the manager knows that I fell asleep in your room, he'll fire me."
"All is forgotten." He sighed.
My lips slightly curved up into grin but along with that, my cheeks had become red. I was blushing.
"So." I fiddled my hands nervously before questioning. "You are a wrestler?"
He nodded his head slowly and said nothing.
But I decided to give him a comment. "That is very cool."
"Thank you." He smiled. For the first time I saw him smile. He had dimples and he looked so attractive that my heart couldn't help but skip a beat.
I slightly bowed my head and continued cleaning his bedroom. I could feel him gazing at me but I didn't look back at him. I didn't have enough courage to look into his eyes.
When I was done, I packed up all the equipments and was ready to leave but Drew stopped me.
"Wait" He stood up from his armchair and took out his wallet. I knew what he was going to do. He took out his money but before he could hand them over to me, I moved a step back.
"No sir, I don't take tips."
He looked at me with his eyes wide open. But then shrugged his shoulders and kept it back. "Your name is Arlene?" He stared at my badge.
"Yes sir."
"I'm Drew Galloway." He stated, however I already knew his name.
We didn't know what to say anything else so I just smiled and left the room. It may sound awkward but I already missed being in his room. Maybe it wasn't because of the room being so big, there was another reason.
