3rd POV

Richard smirks as he watches the family and Jen leaves the cemetery.

"Aren't you supposed to be in hell?" A female voice spoke.

Richard startles a little before turning around to see ghost Y/n and ghost Ebenezer. Y/n had her arms crossed over her chest while Ebenezer who had a white suit, had one of his arms on his hip while the other dangled.

Richard smirks before sliding and stands beside Y/n who side-eyes him. Richard wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

"Come on darling. You hate me that much?" Richard asked.

"Get your hands off of her," Ebenezer gently pulls Y/n towards him and wraps his arm around her waist.

Richard lifts his hands in front of him, "Whoah, whoah. My bad."

"I mean- Aren't you supposed to be in heaven already?" Richard asked.

"We were about to until we saw you," Ebenezer said.

"Don't worry...I won't harm your sweet daughter...Or will I?" Richard chuckles.

Ebenezer growls but Y/n stopped him from attacking Richard.

"Holy! Is that a ghost?" A small voice shouted.

The three ghosts look in the direction of the voice.

Three little children were staring at them while one of them pointed at the ghosts.

"I think I'm gonna pee my pants," Kid 2 said.

"Hey, folks! Begging your pardon."

Richard teleported behind the little kids causing them to jolt.

"Excuse me! Sorry to barge in!"

"Now let's skip the tears and start on the whole."

Richard looked at the dead couple.

"Y'know. Being dead thing."

Richard pointed at the little kids who were about cry.

"You're doomed! Enjoy the singing."

"The sword of Damocles is swinging."

Richard looks at the viewers who are reading this right now.

"And if you skip this chapter. I'll kill you myself."

"The whole being dead thing."

Richard floats his way to the couple before wrapping his arms around them, standing in the middle.

"Death can get a person stressed."

"We should have carpe'd way more diems. Now we're never gonna see 'em," Y/n said, annoyed.

"I can show you what comes next. So don't freaked."

"Stay in your seats. I do this bullshit, like, eight times a week."

"Language," Ebenezer said.

Richard gives him an annoyed look before placing his finger between Ebeenzer's lips.

"So just relax, you'll be fine. Drink your fifty-dollar wine."

"And take a breath," Richard points at the screen, "Welcome to a book about death."
