Last Time:
"Got you." The attacker growled and grabbed the boy by the collar once he reached the trees ...

"Where are you, Isaac ?" Severus muttered as he and an army of Death Eaters flew over a forest.
Tom was watching Severus as they flew.
A part of his mind wanted to tell Severus to slow down because it was night and winds were getting stronger. On the other hand, he cursed his own broom under his breath because it was too slow. However, his thoughts were interrupted by a terrifying sound that he remembered from long ago when he lived in the muggle world ... A gunshot. Two gunshots, to be precise, and the sounds came from nearby.
It came from the very direction that all the blood arrows were pointing ...
"Isaac!" Both Tom and Severus exclaimed in panic.
Everyone immediately started to descend hoping to see the child. They zipped past an abandoned house and saw two people running through the trees. Considering the one doing the chasing was firing spells at the other it was easy to figure out who Isaac was even in the darkness of night.
Bellatrix grinned maniacally, "I'll handle the bastard."
Tom glanced at her, "Don't let that person escape." He said, wanting several words with the person who dared to attack his son. It will be a truly painful conversation ...
"I won't. Those pricks can't use the same trick on me so many times and actually believe I won't figure out how to counter it." Bellatrix said and pulled a polished rune covered whip from the depths of her cleavage.
As the whip unraveled Bellatrix leaned forward. With that little tilt the broom shot downwards at a sharp angle. Despite the sharp change in direction she remained locked on the bastard, effectively dive bombing him. Not that the attacker had any clue until it was far too late.
One second he was running after the brat who shot his arm. The next he felt something cold and slim firmly wrap around his neck. There was no time to yank the thing off because the full weight of someone slammed him into the ground and stood on his back. The terrifying realization that he was caught and his wand was thrown from his hand hit him. To make the situation even worse the person who caught him was none other than Bellatrix. He desperately tried to swallow something that was spelled to stick to the roof of his mouth.
When the pill was released and headed down his throat the attacker felt relieved. Any moment he'd be dead and dissolved into nothing. However, that relief only lasted a second. In fact, it was replaced entirely by a painful electrical shock courtesy of the thing around his neck.
Bellatrix smirked as the person under her feet squirmed in pain and vomited up something that looked like a pill, "So this is what destroyed your buddies' bodies before I could have a talk with them. Too bad for you that trick won't work again." She cackled, electrocuting him again just for fun.

Tom landed along with everyone else and surrounded the person who was on the run forcing them to stop. Out of his shocked state he absentmindedly checked the compass. The arrow was fixed firmly on the child they surrendered, but checking didn't seem necessary.
Both Severus and Tom could see who the child was. The young, shaking, 14 year old boy looked like a perfect combination of them. Even through the colorful tinted glasses the ruby red eyes, exactly like Tom's, were the most striking. This was more than enough to tug at their heartstrings.
Severus was so scared that this was just a cruel dream and wanted to hug the boy so he knew this was real, "Isaac-" He barely took two steps towards the child before Tom grabbed his arm and stopped him. "What are you doing?" He asked calmly while sharply yanking his arm out of Tom's grasp. Just because he had some bitterness towards Tom didn't mean he wanted to scare Isaac by yelling.
