Annabeth POV

------160 years after the war with Gaea------

We were called to an emergency meeting on Olympus. By we, I mean us 6 of the prophecy: Nico, Thalia, and Reyna. "Why did you summon the council and the heroes, brother?" Zeus spoke respectfully, directed to Hades. He had become a surprisingly good king lately. He shifted uncomfortably, "I had to lock down the underworld a few moments ago; a being far more powerful than any I have encountered tried to escape Tartarus. I had to invoke all my power and authority as the lord of the underworld to prevent them from entering my domain, but I fear they will try to escape through one of the pit entrances outside of my domain."

We all shifted nervously. "You mean to say a being, whom you do not recognize, tried to escape the pit into your domain, but you prevented them from entering your domain, but they still wish to escape?" Athena asked, sounding scared. Poseidon and I glanced at each other; we thought the same thing: it could be Percy. "Yes," Hades said. As soon as he said that, he and Zeus shot out of their thrones. "He's out!" Hades exclaimed. Zeus nodded, "I see him; he's 5 miles south of Freeport, Kansas. Quickly, let's go." We all flashed there and saw a being; he must have been a god, based on his aura, clawing his way out of a hole. He was clad in an all-black suit and looked about 20, with pure black hair about his mid-neck. He sat on his knees and stared at the stars.

"Finally," he said quietly. His voice was dry and gravelly like he hadn't spoken in years. "After all these years, I'M FREE!!!!" His voice boomed around us as he shouted those last two words. "Sir," we heard a voice say, "We have company, 14 Olympian gods, eight full immortals, and one half-immortal." Thalia and I tensed; we recognized that voice, and it wasn't a pleasant memory. He froze at the mention of the Olympians, "Threat level low to mid General," a different voice said. Nico tensed at the sound of the second one, and I tensed more. The being continued to look at the stars, "South, where am I?" he asked nobody in particular.

"You are in the US, Kansas, 5 miles short of a town called Freeport." "Any of your tactics would work should a fight break out." Jason and Reyna tensed at the sound of that voice. "You should kill them all." a different voice said. We all tensed at that suggestion, the gods and those that fought in the second titan war more so than the others. The being sighed before standing up and looking at us, "I do not believe that is necessary, King. They are my allies." His voice had cleared, and the sound brought tears to my eyes.

Zeus cleared his throat, "Who-" Poseidon stepped forward with tears in his eyes. "Percy?" he asked. Everyone except for me gasped. I stepped forward as well. He looked at us and smiled, "Hi, Dad, it's been a while, but I'm back." He looked at me, and a look of pure shock was on his face. "Annabeth?" He asked. I rushed towards him and pulled him into a hug. He hugged me back. After a few moments, we pulled away. He smiled at me. I went to flip him again, but he pulled away from me before I could and hugged his Father.

They pulled away, and Poseidon examined him, "You look so different." Percy smiled his troublemaker smirk. It's been over sixteen thousand years for me; of course, I look different." We gaped at him, and Zeus stepped forward. "Are you Percy Jackson? Our savior and my nephew?" He smiled, "Sup Uncle Z, you didn't lose your firecracker again, did you?" Zeus smiled at him before pulling him into a hug.

All of us were shocked. "Come let us return to Olympus, where you can debrief us." Percy pulled away. His face was calm, but his eyes were betraying him; they were stormy, and he was defensive. "You guys go ahead; I'll be right behind you," he said. We examined him before Poseidon said, "No problem, son, we'll be waiting for you. Come along, everyone." He gave us all a look, saying don't argue with me. We all flashed back to the throne room.

The gods took their thrones, and shouting broke out. I couldn't hear what they were saying except for one god. "We should kill the punk! He's a threat, and he has Titans talking to him!" He shouted that over everyone else, and everybody fell silent. Before he could blink, Ares had a trident in his left shoulder, a gold arrow in his gut, a silver arrow in his groin, a bident in his right shoulder, and flames curling around him, holding him in his throne. Zeus cleared his throat. "You shall not talk like that again, Ares. Now, Brothers, Sister, Children, please put your weapons away."
