If you're here still, know that I had a dream in the middle of a day with my family, and I realized that Nick and Laural's story needed to be closer to the actual story.
The real life story.
I'm not Laurel and Nick isn't mine.
Nick is a figment of a bunch of Nick's that did all the things to a fifteen year old girl, a sixteen year old girl, and a seventeen year old girl, until she found the right Nick in a place she never imagined, and even then it was rocky.
But the right Nick and the right Laurel could be amazing, I just hope that I can tell that story in this. So here goes my twenty seventh try.
Legitimately it's been twenty seven tries, so maybe the twenty seventh try is the charm. 🫣
Ouachita isn't a place like a town, it's the national forest that expands from Oklahoma to Arkansas, but for this story, it's a town.
