Assistant or lover?

The party

As Muichiro headed out the door he had started feeling nervous. He started questioning his appearance and started practicing some random lines to introduce himself.

Before he knew it he was already in front of the building. he looked up and down, thinking if your ears popped if you went all the way to the top.

He looked around before heading inside, seeing everyone in formal wear like dresses and tuxedos or suits.

'Am I... underdressed...?'

Muichiro's face begin to redden, wanting to leave but couldn't. He took a breather, heading to the fountain before heading inside.

"I wonder how much money was spent on this... it looks relatively new so..."

"Ahh you're here! So you did get it in! It's nice to see you!"

Muichiro jumped a bit as the pink haired women jumped on him, almost making him fall on the water before she caught him.

"Sorry about that! I'm just glad you made it in, there was a lot of people that applied so you're a lucky one."

"O-oh yeah, nice to meet youuu... what's your name again?"

"It's Mitsuri! You know, the one that owns a lot of cats?"

"Oh yeah! My bad, I have a terrible memory"

Muichiro giggled a bit as as Mitsuri started dragging him inside the building. He wasn't necessarily ready to go inside but he just went with it.

Muichiro's eyes widened as he looked inside, he suspected this wasn't how it would usually look like as there was a party going on but imaging it without the decorations it looks beautiful.

The interior of all the furniture were black with some white interior as well, making it look kinda modern in a way. The chandelier on the high top roofs was huge, something that looked like it would be in a castle rather than a building. The brown tables and desk went well with it all, making it look like it was a house kinda, either way it looked nice. Then the handles of every door or cabinet were gold, bringing the color out more as it was also shiny.

"What do you think? It looks pretty nice, huh?"

"Y-yes, it kinda looks like a home, a warm and cozy one"

"Ah, well that's actually kinda what Mr.Shinazugawa was going for but I heard rumors that he was going to change it, I'm not sure though"

"Oh really? Well either way I still think it'll look nice. And the decorations are really pretty, you know who made them?"

"Oh that was actually me! Thank you thank you! Shinobu helped me as well but I did all the setting up"

"Ah, Tokito you made it, nice to see you here"

Muichiro turned around to see Shinobu. He smiled and waved, greeting her as they took each others hand.

"Muichiro is fine, for the both of you I mean, I don't really like formalities"

Muichiro laughed awkwardly, not really the type to really socialize with people, not that he's shy but he's just an awkward person sometimes.

"Why don't we all get something to drink? I'm sure Muichiro here is thirsty"

Shinobu pushed the two into the bar, trying to hide Muichiro for the time being as she didn't want Genya to notice him.

"Is everyone here? I want to get this thing over with, just start bringing in the people who actually wanted the job"

"But barley half the list is even here! Are you sure you want me to move on?"
