"that exam really kicked my ass" i sigh out as i walked out of my math class with laya, today was the most stressful day i had finals and right after this i had to go straight to work

"i know i hope i get a good grade on it" laya shrugs as we both stop by her locker. it was the end of the day so we weren't in a hurry. i lean onto the locker that was next to layas

"what time do you get off work today?" she asks as she searches into her locker

"10:30" i say as my focus was on my phone

"wanna go to the movies after? you can invite vinnie if you want" she smiles, and i smile back

i've been best friends with vinnie ever since our freshman year it's almost like we instantly knew eachother when we first met. he gets me and that's my favorite thing about him. he's the most understandable person i've ever known

"i wish i could but i've got to help my sister study for her final, she has them tomorrow" i sigh

"y/n key word 'vinnie'. if he's going then you should go too" she laughs

"what's that supposed to mean?" i giggled and she gives me a 'are you serious' look

"you two are like obsessed with each other" she shakes her head and pulls her backpack out of her locker

"no we're not, i hardly have any classes with him how can we even be obsessed with each other if we barely see each other" i squint my eyes at her

she laughs and covers her mouth with her palm

"your actually blind as fuck" she chuckles and slams her locker door closed

"you go to each others houses almost everyday, you WORK together everyday after school, you invite him everywhere we go and you guys hug eachother 24/7 like if you guys were a couple" she says as we both walk down the stairs

"you guys seriously cannot get enough of each other" she laughs

i roll my eyes "kay whatever"

and throughout the crowd of students that roamed in the small hallways i noticed a tall curly headed blonde boy coming my way

i grin as i knew exactly who it was

"oh god" laya sighs as she also knew who it was that was slowly coming our way

"y/n!" he slightly yells out as he pushes through the crowd of people just to get to me

his arms spread as i let out a loud gasp like if i saw someone i haven't seen in years

his warm arms wrap around my body as he slightly squeezes

"i missed you" he mumbles into my neck

"you saw each other like 3 hours ago...during lunch" laya says

we both laugh as we pull away from the hug, his arm
wrapped around my shoulder while his thumb rubs on my upper arm 

"we gotta go, work starts in 15 minutes" he says as he looks at the non existent watch on his wrist

"i'll see you tomorrow laya!" i shout while vinnie drags me away with him. she waves back and disappears into the crowd of students in the hallway

"that'll be 23.99 sir" i say to the costumer who was buying a bunch of snacks. he nods and gives me 25 dollars. as i gave him his change back he smiles at me
