Chapter 1

Chapter 1

HALEY'S POV (December 17th, 2012)

"Yay!", I said to my best friend Julie. I was super excited because today I am finally flying back home from collage to visit my family over Christmas vacation. Julie is my roommate in collage, we go to Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. We met in first grade. I can still remember that day like it was yesterday...

***FLASHBACK***

My teacher, Mrs. Schmidt, said, "Children, today we have a new student in our class, her name is Julie."

Later that day I sat next to Julie during story time. I said, "Hey Julie." "Hey what's your name?", She replied. "Hal- I got cut off. Mrs. Schmidt told us to be quiet during story time so other students could hear. A few minutes later I whispered in Julie's ear, "My name is Haley", Julie smiled. I hope Julie and I will become great friends one day, I thought.

***END OF FLASHBACK***

I packed my last few items including my iPhone, iPad, and book. After that, I put on my backpack, grabbed my suitcases and headed out of my dorm with Julie. She was going to come with me to the airport to drop me off, then go to her moms house for break.

She lives in Massachusetts now. Last year her family moved up here to be closer to her. My family still lives in California so I don't get to see them as often. My sister Megan started collage this year, and is going to catch a plane back home tomorrow. She attends Harvard University and is studying Forensic Science.

Once we got to the airport I said goodbye to Julie and gave her a big hug. I was going to miss her so much!

***THE NEXT DAY***

HALEY'S POV

I woke up and stared at the clock next to me.

5:30 AM

I wasn't tired because of the time change. In Massachusetts it was 8:30 AM. Nobody was awake yet so I crept downstairs to the living room and started watching tv. I flipped through the channels. Nothing good was on so I decided to wash up and get ready for the day.

My sister was going to come home today! I was so excited to see her!

MEGAN'S POV

As I got off my flight I saw my sister Haley running up to me and then give me a hug!

"Oh my gosh! I haven't seen you in so long", Haley exclaimed.

"I know it's great to see you again sis", I replied.

"How about we go to the mall and hang out for a while", she suggested.

"Sure, that sounds great!", I said.

We got into the car and put my luggage in the trunk. Haley and I have always been really close. We listened to the album "Take Me Home" by One Direction. We were huge fans and sang along to all of the songs! I was so happy to be hanging out with my sister again!

Once we got into the mall we stopped in Forever 21, one of our favorite stores. I saw this really cute blue top and asked my sister if she could get a discount for me. Since Haley worked here a lot of my wardrobe is from Forever 21.

Then we stopped by Abercrombie and saw these two guys hanging around. They looked kind of suspicious. With sunglasses and hats these guys looked... wait a minute. I would recognize those dimples anywhere. Apparently my sister saw them too and saw my face. Haley camped my mouth shut. She knew Harry was my favorite and Niall was hers. They were standing just a few feet away.

They started to walk out of they store. It was now or never, so I decided to run. I didn't scream their names, but people started staring so I slowed down.

As Haley and I caught up to them we decided to play it cool and pretend that we didn't know their disguises were terrible

NIALL'S POV

"Hey bro", I said. Me and Harry were hanging out in the mall, trying to have a normal day. However, walking around in sunglasses didn't seem like the best way to do that.

"Yeah?" Harry replied.

"Those girls over there are eying us like they know something."

"So, they're cute."

"Let's get out of here."

We head out the doors. Oh no! I thought. I heard running footsteps behind us.

HARRY'S POV

I saw the moats beautiful girl I had ever seen in my life run up next to me. Her thick blonde hair flowed behind her as she ran up next to me...

Woah, Harry snap out of it! I told myself.

"Hey guys", said another girl next to her, "My name is Haley."

"And my name is Megan", said the girl of my dreams. Her voice was even sweeter than her face...

Harry! Oh my I was really falling for her. Hard!
