Perrie's stay was being nothing short of amazing, the fear of our connection only being online was long gone and gave way to a much stronger and deeper bond now. I wanted to thank her for being the amazing girlfriend that she is and for making me happy, so I decided to prepare a special date for her, a surprise.
"So where are you taking me?" she asked.
I smiled, taking her hand and leading her through the streets. "It's a surprise" I said, enjoying the look of anticipation on her face. "Just trust me."
We walked, and I led her to a park. The sky was a deep shade of blue, with stars twinkling overhead. A picnic blanket was spread out on the grass, with a basket nestled beside it and fairy lights around the nearby three, giving the night a soft glow.
Perrie's eyes widened as she saw the setup. "Oh my god," she breathed. "This is amazing." She turned to me, eyes shining. "You're amazing."
I grinned, feeling my heart swell with warmth. "I just wanted to do something special for you," I said, pulling her in for a kiss.
"You are special to me" she replied, "But thank you baby, I loved it."
We lay down on the blanket, gazing up at the stars. I opened the basket, revealing an array of delicious foods and a bottle of wine. We chatted and laughed, enjoying each other's company under the canopy of night.
As we sipped on our wine, the conversation shifted to more intimate matters about our feelings. I leaned in closer to her, her eyes glittering in the moonlight. "You know," I said, a little nervous, "there were a few times while we talked online that I wanted to say it, but I had to contain myself because I wanted to do it in person" I paused "I love you Perrie"
"Really?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.
I nodded, scooting even closer until our thighs were touching. "I've been waiting for the right moment to tell you. And this, under the stars with a glass of wine, feels pretty perfect."
"I love you too Jade, I wanted to tell you too, but I didn't know the right time, there were so many times I almost let it slip." she said with a smile.
Without another word, she leaned in and pressed her lips to mine. It was soft and gentle at first, but as the kiss deepened, I felt a spark ignite within me. I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her closer as our tongues tangled together in a kiss full of emotion.
Perrie and I were now back at the hotel, laying in bed, naked and enjoying the closeness.
"I was talking to my mom and Karl about you the other day"
"What did they say?" Perrie asked.
I paused for a moment, before replying. "They both really like you, you know. They told me to be careful and all of those things, but my mom said that you seem like a really kind and genuine person, and Karl thinks you're smart and funny."
Perrie smiled, and I could feel her body relax against mine. "That's really sweet. I'm glad they like me."
I ran my fingers through her hair, enjoying the silky feel of it on my skin. "I'm glad they do too. It means a lot to me." I paused before continuing, "They really want to meet you. I was thinking that maybe tomorrow or the day after you could meet them If you want"
"I would love to babe"
"Good' I say, snuggling closer to her.
We lay there for a few more minutes in comfortable silence before Perrie spoke again. "Do you ever think about the future, between us?"
I knew what she meant - she was asking if I saw a future for us together. And the truth was, I did.
"Yeah, I do" I said, my voice soft. "I see us together for a long time."
Perrie smiled, that big smile of hers that makes me want to be the reason behind, more and more.
"I do too" she said. "I feel like we have something special, you know? Something different."
"I know" I replied, turning to look at her. "I've never felt this way before. It's like everything just makes sense when I'm with you."
Perrie's smile widened, and she leaned in to kiss me. Our lips met in a gentle kiss, I ran my hands down her back, pulling her closer to me. We broke apart, gasping for air, and I looked into her eyes.
"I love you, Perrie."
"I love you, Jade" she replied, her eyes shining with emotion.
I pulled her close again, and we drifted off to sleep, wrapped up in each other's arms. As I drifted off, I knew that no matter what the future held, I wanted Perrie to be a part of it.
The morning sun peeked through the window, casting a warm glow on our entwined bodies. Perrie stirred next to me, her sleepy eyes meeting mine. I couldn't help but smile at the sight of her tousled hair and flushed cheeks.
"Good morning," I whispered, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.
"Morning," she murmured, snuggling closer to me.
I traced lazy circles on her back, enjoying the feel of her skin against mine. We lay there for a while, basking in the afterglow of our lovemaking.
But soon enough, hunger pangs started to gnaw at my stomach. I sat up, stretching my arms above my head. Perrie watched me with a lazy smile, her eyes still heavy with sleep.
"Let's get breakfast" I said, leaning down to kiss her again.
We got dressed and headed out to a nearby café, holding hands as we walked. The sun was shining, and the air was filled with the sweet smell of blooming flowers. I couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment, for Perrie's warmth and the joy she brought into my life.
As we sat down at a small table in the café, I couldn't help but notice the way Perrie's eyes flickered over the menu. She seemed hesitant.
"Is everything alright?" I asked, reaching across the table to take her hand.
She squeezed my fingers, her eyes meeting mine. "I just... I don't know if I'm ready to go back to reality yet. To go back to our lives, with all the stress and the distance between us."
I nodded, understanding all too well. "Sometimes it's hard to let go of the moment" I said softly. "But no matter what happens, we'll face it together. And we'll make it through."
Perrie smiled, her eyes softening. "I know we will" she said.
