The next morning came with the bright sun I awoke to find no trace of her except a Note and a memory of the night. The note read as follows:
Hey, I woke up before you and decided to leave. last night was fun right? Sorry I didn't stay longer I didn't know how you would have reacted if I was still here. But let's have coffee sometime

It took me about an hour to process what had happened and to this day I will never understand why she chose me of all people.
I texted her when I finally understood enough of what happened
And she responded within Seconds. When I first put in her number I named the contact the girl in the red skirt with a heart next to it. She responded quickly saying "so you actually decided to message me that's good to see so how are you?" The conversation went on for about 3 hours after that. We talked About our hobbies. We talked about our interests and our fears. We talked about a lot but then we talked about what happened the night before.
turns out she had been running away from a toxic ex friend and I just happened to be her safe haven.
So we made plans to meet up at a Coffee shop downtown. I had some extra money so I paid for everything. We spent the rest of the day walking around the city and chatting about stuff. Near the end of the day we parted ways saying goodbyes and hugging.
I never saw her after that day.
