The Cemetery
Before the cemetery was a cemetery it was the town's green. The Green Lady lived with her son there, they were both shunned by the townsfolk because the father went mad and went on a killing spree, so the mother and son were both thought to be cursed by the spirit of the father.
One day the son went down to the brook nearby their cozy cottage. While getting water for supper, a group of teenagers came up to him and began to push him around, but that happened a lot. The only thing different about today was when one of them pulled a gun out on the Green Lady's son.
At midnight the Green Lady's worries increased to an unbearable amount, so she grabbed her lantern and went to search for her son. By the time she got to the brook, her son had drowned and all that was there was his corpse. The teens were gone. Mad with grief she killed herself, but before she did she swore to God that she would haunt the murderers and their descendants.
At night people near the cemetery see a green light bobbing just in view where the house of the Green Lady had been. Those who have followed it were never to been seen again. People say that the brook is the hottest suicide spot. Seventeen bodies and two cars have been found there, but is it really a suicide spot? There have been complaints of moans and cries of the deceased near the brook at night.
