I know i've put this off for ages but... here it comes xx I've also edited the other part.

"Here, grab into this!" Kaiden yelled, hoisting a long branch down into the ditch. Alex tried to reach the branch but it was no use. The only way she would be able reach it, was if she stood up but her ankle was swollen to the size of a golf ball.

Alex used every ounce of her strength to pull herself up to standing, wincing all the while. Leaning against the rock, she put all her weight on her good leg and grasped the branch with both hands.

When she made it out of the hole, Kaiden slid his arms around her thighs and her back and fireman carried her away from the ditch. It took all of Alex's willpower not to think about the way his hands seared through her jeans and tshirt, to not think about the way her body fit so perfectly with his.

Get it together, Alex she silently told herself. Kaiden carried her over to a nearby tree and gently lowered her down under it. His hand drifted toward her injured ankle, a questioning look in his eyes. At her nod, he began to untie her shoe, his hand soft and gentle as he slid off her shoe and sock. His touch was felt all the way to her core as he rolled up her jeans.

Alex hissed out a breath when he grazed her sprained ankle, wincing at the pain.

"We need to get you to Fletcher," Kaiden said in a no-nonsense tone. He stood up and retrieved the basket whilst Alex held her shoe and sock. they both placed their hands on the bubble door and were whisked away to the class meeting spot.

After Hunter gave them the OK to head up to the medical wing, Alex found herself once again, in Kaiden's arms.

"You don't have to carry me you know, I can get there just fine," Alex protested squirming in Kaiden's arms, trying to wriggle free.

"As if! You were in pain when my hand just barely grazed your ankle and if you think I'm leaving you anywhere, especially when you're injured, you don't know me at all," Kaiden responded, fierce protectiveness clouding his eyes.

When they finally reached Fletchers office, Kaiden carefully lay her down on a bed and gently brushed a stray hair out of his eyes, his hand caressing her cheek. Alex stilled at his touch and the love burning in his eyes.

She reached a hand up and ran it through his midnight hair, relishing in it's softness. She put a little pressure on the back of his neck, surprise flashed across his face before it turned into something deeper. Kaiden lowered his face until he was inches away from Alex, his eyes roaming her face for any hint of uncertainty.

Alex closed the rest of the distance between them and their mouthes clashed together in a searing kiss. His lips teased and tugged, his tongue sliding over her lips, begging her to open for him. When she did, theirs tongues became a frenzy, clashing together in a battle dance.

God he tasted so good. He tasted like caramel and cinnamon all in one. It was addictive and Alex never wanted him to stop. His mouth was bruising and possessive and she devoured every second of it.

They were so caught up in each other, that they didn't notice that Fletcher was back with the pain killers until he cleared his throat, finally capturing their attention. They pulled away from each other so fast she accidentally bit Kaiden's lip.

"Sorry," She mouthed, earning herself a wink in return, causing Alex to flush the deepest state of red.

"Painkillers anyone?"
