The start

Kiera's POV

I woke up from a very deep sleep, and immediately felt good and motivated. I sat up, and put my slippers onto my feet, then yawned while stretching.

"Man, today is gonna be go-o-od!!" I sung to myself while standing up and walking over to my bedroom door.

"I wonder if anyone is up yet.." I thought to myself, turning the knob on my door, and opening it.

I then walked out of it, and headed downstairs, where I heard Tay yelling, Axel yelling back, Someone cooking stuff, and someone who sounded like Carlos trying to stop the arguing.

Once I made it completely down the steps, I saw Axel and Tay fighting over the TV remote, while Carlos tried to calm them down. Jaiden on the other hand was in the kitchen, making pancakes and singing to himself.

I completely ignored the chaos, and walked over to Jaiden who was focused on making perfect pancakes. I decided to scare him, and hugged him from behind.

"Zooz? Dude why are you hugging me, I hate hugs!" He said, slightly turning his head to a side angle so that he could see me. I huffed heavily, and let go.

"Dude I do that to everybody, and you're the only one who doesn't get scared! It's so unfair!" I complained, slouching down.

"You're dumb, Zooz. Now, can you get Axel, Tay, and Carlos to sit down? The pancakes are nearly done." Jaiden said, turning back to look at the pancakes. I nodded, and walked over to the three.

Tay and Axel were attempting to hit each other, while Carlos was stuck in the middle. I got closer to Carlos, and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Go sit down you fool." I mouthed, and he listened, going to sit down. I then separated Axel and Tay, and gave them both a look.

"Both of you stop acting like dumb toddlers and go sit! Peep, I expected you to be less childish. Tay, you're wearing iron man slippers and an iron man onesie, so this is expected from you. Now go sit!!" I scolded them both. Tay rolled his eyes and went to sit next to my seat, while Peep sat next to Meep's seat.

I then let out a big breath of air, and went over to my seat, opening snap once I got there.

"Okay everyone, the pancakes are done! Poot, what do you want on yours?" Meep asked, grabbing the toppings out of our fridge.

"I want strawberries, whipped cream, and a TOOOOON of maple syrup!" He said, kicking his stupid feet underneath the table. Meep complied, and added all of these toppings, and then delivered it to tay along with a fork and a knife.

Tay went to take a bite, but Meep stopped him.

"Idiot, we don't eat until everybody has a plate. That's the rule when I cook." Meep reminded him, Tay frowned, but listened.

"Okay, Trex, what do you want on your pancakes?" Meep asked, returning to the counter where the pancakes were separated onto different plates.

"Uhh, lemme get blueberries, chocolate chips, and some syrup please." He said politely. Meep added these toppings, then served Carlos his plate.

"Next, Zooz, what do you want?" Meep asked, already knowing that I looove chocolate.

"I want chocolate chips, chocolate drizzle, a bit of fudge, and whipped cream!" I said, having a huge sweet tooth, like I do every morning. Meep then happily added the chocolate items. He then put the plate in front of me.

"Peep, I already know what you want." Jaiden said, putting syrup and chocolate chips onto Axel's plate, then bringing it to him. He then made himself a plate, and sat down next to Axel.

"Okay, now we may eat." He announced, and everyone began to dig in. Tay, like an idiot, shoved two whole pancakes into his mouth at once, and almost choked. I cut a slice of pancake, and put it into my mouth, and then gasped.

"Mm-mm-mm!! Chocolatey goodness!!" I yelled, absolutely loving the flavor. Axel giggled, and called me stupid.

"Dude, Meep, you could totally be a chef at a restaurant." Carlos said, swallowing his bite. Meep laughed and thanked him. I suddenly got a huge idea.

"Guys, we should open a restaurant." I blurted out. Everyone at the table looked at me like I was crazy.

"Us? Start a restaurant? No way man! We're too stupid." Axel responded.

"Okay, wait, hear me out," I started, "With you and Meep's cooking skills, you guys could be chefs. Trex is great at cleaning, so he could do dishes and stuff. I'm amazing at talking, so I could be a waitress. And Tay could be the one who seats the customers, because he's great at greeting people." I explained, and they all looked like they were thinking.

"Honestly..she's right dude!" Jaiden said. Everyone else agreed.

"Yeah, but where would we get the money for a restaurant?" Tay asked.

"My papa. He's super wealthy, and would definitely be willing to help us start a career!" I said, grabbing my phone and dialing his number. I then got up out of my seat, and exited the room to talk to him.

A few minutes later, I came back, and smiled at them happily.

"He has a building for us, it's in our town, and it's for sale at only $200! Although it's really run down, which is why it's so cheap, so we'd have to do a ton of renovating. My papa said he'd cover all of it, so we're set for it!" I said, jumping up and down.

"I can't believe we're gonna start a business!" Tay said happily, taking another bite of his pancakes. We all discussed how great this was gonna be, and then continued to eat our pancakes.

"Soo..." Meep said when we all finished our meal.

"When do we start?" He asked, and I cleared my throat.

"I booked a meet up with the owner for this afternoon, and he said that it should only take a few minutes of paperwork for us to get the building." I said, explaining to them. They all smiled happily, and then we all parted ways to do our own things until the afternoon.
