A day before the start of school, Chase, a German Shepherd, was in his room and packed his bag with notebooks, books, and writing materials. He gets very excited when it comes to going to school, and really likes meeting new friends
His brother, Marshall, a Dalmatian, was in the other room, doing the same thing - packing his stuff with books, notebooks and writing materials. He's a bit opposite to Chase - he sometimes gets scared, or worried on what would happen to him in school. He also gets shy when talking to someone, or even making friends. He kept on talking to himself, probably trying to calm himself down.
Marshall: Alright Marshall. It's just the first day of school. Nothing to worry...
Chase: (from the other room) Hey Marshall! Ready for school tomorrow?
Marshall: (stutters) Um... Y-yeah..
Marshall finishes up packing his stuff for the next day. Chase walked in his room with a smile on his face.
Chase: School is gonna be so awesome, right Marshall?
Marshall: I guess? I think? Um...
Chase: (gets closer) Anything wrong?
Marshall: N-no. Just, a bit nervous, that's all (chuckles nervously)
Chase: You're worried, aren't you?
Marshall: Well, yeah...
Marshall then cleaned up the area, sorting all of the books and notebooks he doesn't need to bring.
Marshall: I mean, what's the worse that could happen though?
Chase: Well, it's normal for you to be like this, so don't overthink things too much. Plus, I'm here
Marshall: Thank, Chase
Marshall breathed in and out, calming himself down. Some time later, their father called them for dinner downstairs. Both of them went downstairs, washed their hands, and sat on the dining table, with the food on the table. The took some portions of the food served, and started eating.
Father: So, school is starting tomorrow, huh
Chase: Yup. I'm so excited to meet some friends!
Father: (chuckles) Seems like you. How about you, Marshall?
Marshall: Um... I'm...
Father: A bit nervous?
Marshall: Kinda...
Father: Don't worry about things too much. Trust me, school will be fun (smiles)
Marshall gave a nod in response, still getting a bit of an overthinking feeling. By the time they finished their dinner, they brushed their teeth, changed their clothes, and went to bed.
Chase was feeling really excited, just don't know if he could even sleep for the night. He was thinking about positive things about it, and later on got tired, and went to sleep. As for Marshall, he stared at the ceiling, thinking what would be the possibilities of things happening in school. He didn't thought about it too much, and went to sleep anyway.
