The next day came, which was 5:45 in the morning, Chase got up pretty fast, Marshall woke up and took a moment of silence before actually getting up. Chase went out of his room, and so did Marshall, both of them going downstairs.
Chase: Hey Marshall, ready for school?
Marshall: I guess..
Chase: Hey cheer up :) school will be fun, promise
Marshall: Ok, if you say so (smiles)
Chase: That's the face I wanted to see
Chase rubbed Marshall's head floof, which made Marshall chuckle a little. Their father then placed the pancakes on the plates on the table - one for each of them.
Father: School is starting today, so make sure you need to have some energy. And Marshall, I know you're getting nervous, but Chase will be with you, so there's nothing to worry about
Marshall: I guess, you cold say that (nervously smiles)
Chase and Marshal then ate their pancakes, while their father was having coffee and pancakes too, getting ready for work. They then took their bath after, wore their clothes, and gets ready.
Chase: I hope I could make friends in school. How about you Marshall?
Marshall: mmm, I don't know...
Chase: (ensures) I really hope you'll make new friends there too
The bus then arrived and beeped the horns.
Chase: The bus! C'mon!
Marshall: A-alright
Chase and Marshall then went downstairs, with their father saying goodbye as they went out of the house, and hopped in the bus. Marshall gulped in nervousness, until Chase dragged him to a seat where they could sit together for a while. As the bus drove everyone to their school, Chase watched the view from the window seat and was smiling like a happy puppy.
Marshall: Hey Chase, why do you like school so much?
Chase: Well, I have something to do, I can make friends, I can have fun too, and so can you (faces Marshall). I'm also concerned on why you get nervous when going to school. Is there something wrong?
Marshall: Um... N-nothing
Chase: C'mon, there's something. I can tell
Marshall: I just get nervous a lot, ok? Meeting new people, new teachers, it just makes me feel a bit...
Chase: Scared?
Marshall nodded
Chase: Oh, I see... Well, don't worry. I'll be with you. (hugs Marshall with one arm)
Marshall: Thanks, Chase
15 minutes later, the bus arrived at the front gate of the school, with everyone going inside the campus. Marshall gulped in nervousness, but Chase dragged Marshall closer to him with a smile, Marshall smiled back, and both of them went inside the campus.
Inside the campus, they could see a basketball court and a stage on the left, the cafeteria on the right, and a building full of classrooms and facilities straight ahead. Just about when they went inside, the bell rang, signaling it's time for class.
Chase: C'mon Marshall. Are room is at room 204
Marshall: Ok
Marshall breathed in and out, and soon, his nervousness went away a little, and both of them went inside the building, to their classroom.
