The next morning, Kia woke Ava up early to help her get ready. Ava took a shower and then wrapped herself in a robe while Kia did her hair and makeup. "I know this isn't how you planned your wedding day, but Ava, you have to admit, Nick cares for you, and Jesse wanted this. He didn't want you to be alone. He wanted to make sure that if something happened to him , he would be taken care of. He couldn't bear the thought of you being with someone he didn't know. He knew you would be protected with Nick and loved. I know you aren't in love with Nick, but one day, you might be. Just try and give him a little break, okay?"Kia pleaded. Ava studied her best friend's face and thought about her words. She was right. Ava was safer in the circle than outside of it. "I know," Ava said quietly. "Okay, you're ready! Let's get the dress on, and then you can see, "Kia said happily. She didn't want to push Ava too hard, but she wanted this day to be as good as it could be. The sooner Ava married Nick, the safer she would be. Ava gasped when she saw herself in the mirror. This couldn't be her! She looked so different. She was thankful Kia could hide the bags under her eyes. "Okay, come on. Nick and Carlos are waiting. The rest of the crew will meet us at the courthouse. I think Chelsea and Elena are coming as well, "Kia said with a smile. Ava smiled back. She had the biggest support system. Chelsea and Elena were good friends of hers, and it helped knowing they would be there. Kia led Ava out of the room and down the stairs.Nick's jaw clenched when he saw Ava. She was absolutely stunning and took his breath away. He had to control his thoughts. This was supposed to be his best friends' wife, but now she was going to be his. It was difficult, and he hoped it would get easier. He felt guilty because he wanted her. He wanted to kiss her and feel her. He wanted to be close to her. Her long brown hair was curled and up in a bun with some loose curls falling down. Kia had done a good job, but Ava was beautiful anyway. "You look beautiful, Ava," Nick said, finally able to speak. Ava could feel her cheeks flush at his words. This was so odd and probably unorthodox to some, but Ava felt a desire to be close to Nick. She also felt a need to rebel, and she wasn't sure why. "You look handsome," Ava replied softly. Nick held out his arm for her and led her to a limo. When everyone arrived at the courthouse, it was flooded with the whole crew. Nick led Ava down to where the justice of the peace was standing. The vows and rings were exchanged, and everyone stood there in a mix of emotions. "Nick, you may kiss your bride," the JOP said. Ava stared at Nick, who stared back. He gently took her chin in his hand, staring into her blue eyes, and leaned down, grazing her lips with his. Electricity struck both of them as their lips collided. Tears fell from Ava's eyes as she wasn't sure where these feelings were coming from. Nick knew exactly how she felt. He brushed a tear from under her eye and whispered into her ear. "I know I'm not Jesse, but I will love you forever, and I'll make sure you feel it in every way," he said, making her shiver. Everyone clapped. The girls cried, and some of the men were emotional. This was such a big deal in RR, probably one of the biggest days of their lives. "Call me when you can, okay?"Kia cried as she hugged Ava. "Same for us. We can get together when you get back," Elena said, speaking for her and Chelsea. " I will. Love you guys!"Ava said as she made her way to Nick, who was waiting for her by his car. Several members would follow them, and some would stay with them discreetly to keep Ava safe. Nick wanted Ava to get away from everything and enjoy herself because when they got back, she wouldn't have that freedom. The drive was quiet but comfortable. Ava stared out of the window, watching the trees go by. She was married now, and her life was going to be different. Nick gently took her hand and held it. Ava squeezed his hand softly and turned to give him a small smile. She felt tingles all the way to her toes when he touched her. Part of her felt guilty because this should be Jesse holding her hand, but she knew Jesse would want her to be happy. They eventually made a beautiful cabin next to a creek that seemed to sparkle. "Wow! Nick, this is amazing!"Ava said excitedly. It warmed Nick's heart to know she liked it. "I'm glad you like it. Come on, it's getting late. You should eat, "he said softly as he parked the car. " I don't want to eat," Ava said. "Ava, you have to eat."Nick said, getting their bags out. “Nick please”, Ava pleaded. Ava looked so tired, and Nick was worried about her not eating. “Just eat some toast, can you do that?”, Nick asked. “Fine”, she said, just ready to go to bed. Nick took their bags inside and started on dinner. Ava toured the cabin in awe of its beauty. Nick really did a good job picking a place. She looked back at Nick, and her heart clenched. She felt something for him, and it made her feel guilty because she still loved Jesse. She was Nick’s wife now, and tonight was her wedding night. Did Nick expect sex? Ava wasn’t sure, but deep down, she wanted to be with Nick in every way. She didn’t want to lose him like she lost Jesse. “Ava, it’s ready”, Nick called. Ava went into the kitchen and sat down. Nick poured them both a glass of wine, and they ate quietly for a few minutes. “I don’t expect anything from you, Ava, not right now. I know all of this is a lot right now. I don’t want you to feel pressured”, Nick said, breaking the silence. Ava looked at him and instantly respected him more than she had. She felt safe with Nick. “It is a lot. But I’m you’re wife now. I feel safe with you, Nick. Would you think of me horribly if I didn’t want to wait?”, Ava asked, a little nervous of his reaction. Nick swallowed a lump in his throat. It made him feel like he was doing as he should for her to feel that way about him. It was weird marrying his best friend’s girl, but he swore to treat her as Jesse would have, and secretly, he wanted to be with her, too. He would give her a true wedding night if that is what she wanted. He knew she was a virgin because Jesse had told him, and he respected her that much more. The only problem was that Nick had a different outlook on sex than most people. He was dominant in the BDSM world, and he was afraid it would frighten Ava, but for tonight, he would be normal. He just knew that once he got a taste of her, he wouldn’t be able to hold back. “Ava, there is something you should know about me first”, Nick began, nervous of her reaction. “You’re a Dom, right?” she asked bluntly. Nick was a little surprised. “Jesse told me he was, so I assumed you are, it’s okay, Nick. I do ask you ease me into it, but I’m okay with it”, Ava said with a soft smile. Nick internally laughed. Jesse had really picked the right girl. “Okay. I promise”, Nick said. He wasn’t deep into BDSM like a lot of people were, but he liked to be on control. “Ready to go to bed?”, he asked, picking up their plates. Ava’s stomach flipped. She was incredibly nervous. “Yes”, she answered, getting up and following Nick down the hall. He opened the door, and Ava was amazed. It was even more beautiful than the rest of the house. The bed had a wooden frame, and it looked so soft. Nick took Ava’s hand and led her to the bed. He turned towards her and took her chin in his hand, placing a light kiss on her lips. Ava felt more tingles like before and a desire for more. She leaned in and kissed him back. Nick deepened the kiss, feeling the same as Ava. He slowly unzipped her dress and let it fall to the floor. She was beautiful and pure; innocent, and he was going to take that away from her. Nick took off his shirt and continued to kiss Ava, laying her on the bed gently. He could hear her heart beating rapidly and knew she was nervous. “Its okay, Ava”, he assured her. Nick kissed her collarbone and down to her bra, where he unhooked it and continued to kiss her. He kissed her breasts, causing a small moan to come from her lips. This made him smile because he knew she was enjoying it. Nick slid his hand into her panties and felt wetness, which made him growl in arousal. He didn’t want to hurt her, so he slid a finger inside, hoping to make it easier for her. Ava moaned at his touch, moving her body so his finger would continue to caress her. She wanted more, she needed more, but Nick wanted to take it slow. He added another finger, pumping his fingers in and out of her and then removing them, causing a whimper. “Shh, I’m not done”, he whispered as he lowered his head and began to lick her clit. This only ignited Ava, soft moans coming from her lips. He continued to pleasure her until he was sure she was ready. “Its going to hurt, Ava, but then it will feel good” he said as he unbuckled his belt and took off his pants and boxers. He slid off Ava’s panties and positioned himself at her entrance. “Are you still sure, Ava?”, he asked. She nodded her head yes and smiled, letting him know she was. Nick easily slid into her, causing her to scream in pain. A tear slid her cheek but it started to feel good as Nick had said. Nick eased in and out slowly and began to move a little faster. He knew she was about to come and he wasn’t far behind. They both moaned in ecstasy as they reached their climax, feeling as if they were both on top of the world. He looked at Ava, watching her face as she enjoyed her orgasm and it turned him on. When they both came down from their high, Nick kissed her again, this time feeling possessive more than he had before. “Nick…”, she said breathlessly. He stroked her hair and wiped her tears. He knew what she was feeling because he felt it too, a sense of guilt. “Its okay pretty girl” Nick said with a small smile. Ava smiled back at him and laid her head on his chest as they lay side beside. Nick knew in that very moment that she wasn’t Jesse’s girl anymore, she was his and he would make sure the whole world knew it.
