things we come to meet <3

{ yo I'm not making this to oversight any other story of mine but this is a concept I liked and thought you might like too so yea also I'm putting the story in shadows pov but I might add Rouges and I'll warn a head of time for that but pls enjoy <3 }

shadows pov :

I was at work I was frustrated with the shitty paper work G.U.N giving me I've tried to ask for field missions but they weren't available. Rouge walked into the room it was break but I still didn't back down from the work
"hun admit it you lonely, why not get a pet or a hobby or something " I snarled at her I hated how she could see through me

I had finally finished all of the paperwork and was about to leave for home until I thought of what Rouge said I then found my self going to a nearby animal shelter as I was greeted by a woman she seemed slightly afraid of my appearance but hell its not like I didn't have a face that gave off that expression I had told her I was interested in to getting a cat
she nodded and led me over to interview all the cats

I wasn't interested until I asked if there were any others she hesitated for a moment before telling me there was one more she was an old cat that apparently had 'aggression problems'
as she described it to me  I said I still wanted to meet her

a few minutes later she came back with a creat that echoed hissing and growling she seemed a little banged up herself she opend the cage and let the cat out as she said the cat was old she was a royal blue with a peached underbelly and muzzle she had multiple scars all over her she seemed unhinged but I Sat in the floor and stayed calm she came over and aggressively sat in my lap I tried petting her but she wasn't taking it well and lightly bit my finger as if a warning but I just lowered my head and lightly bit her ear she let go and so had I she looked in my eye and then something just clicked like  I finally found someone who got me I picked her up and she allowed me but then agusted to sit on my shoulder
with us both blankly staring
at the woman

after getting everything in order we were able to leave I left sonic 'as I found out her name when finishing up ' out side the store on my motorcycle I knew she could handle her self as she was pretty intimidating I came back with every thing you'd need for a cat

when we got home I setup everything and went to lay down sonic followed and hopped on the bed to I was going to get her off but she gave me a stare I was read a small part of this book I was reading but sonic moved over into my arms to a position that she could look at what I was reading  I finished reading and went to sleep while slowly petting sonic.
