an old friend

{ hey yall I want you guys to know that I'm back in school so I might miss a day or two to update this and other stories but any way oc time enjoy }

shadows pov:

I was still laying on the couch dazed from yesterday's event sonic had gotten in to her cat form and went outside even after showing her how to you the house bathroom as tails was still asleep in the crib I bought for him then the cat door flew open as sonic ran in with a brown barn owl that had a ball of needle which was probably a Heghog curled up I lifted my self up I looked at sonic as she turned back to her mobian form ready for her to explain "shadow!, this is an old friend of mine " she said excitingly as the owl through the ball upward and turned into what I guessed was her mobin form as well as she spread her quills letting the ball fall into them "hi, I'm Pinshakes you can call me pin…"
"are you a Heghog or something?"
I asked she seemed to laugh a little and told me to look again
she had fret long sharp quills her fur was a taned brown color as her muzzle was a coco brown her tail was slightly longer then sonic's and mine her snout was slightly flat and strong curved claws she was short but seemed to have significant mass to her

I stayed quiet trying to figure this out until she spoke once more " I'm a porcupine not a heggie "  I embarrassingly chuckled at my stupidity

we were on the couch talking though I cradled myself on sonic's lap as we talked until I decided to break a question "wait how do you guys know each other actually ?"

"oh well sonic was an experiment from Japan and I was an experiment from China but when we escaped we ran into each other we didn't trust at first but we became friends the G.U.N came they took sonic away and I ended up in California as another 'animal rescue ' attraction I escaped and- oh that reminds me I want you guys to meet someone" pin spoke before pulling a baby Heghog mobian form from her quills they had silver fur with purple tips they had a pale muzzle and their eyes seemed a cloudy white color possibly blind
"this is viper!"

he seemed quiet but then sonic told pin about tails they talked about baby stuff warm in my position I started to fall asleep

I woke up a few hours later realizing I was moving sonic was carrying me as if I were some tired kid who stayed up to late and had to put them to bed I groaned not expecting the treatment sonic then pet my quills causing me to purr in response my eyes started dropping once more as she took me to my room as if I were a child I mumbled

"I love you......"
