•●•Prologue•●•

Two Aeries chick sit in a nest.
"Mommy! Can you tell us a story?" One chirps.
A white Aeries sat down beside her two children.
"I have a great one to tell, one that every Aeries parent teaches their child." She told the two chicks.
"That sounds interesting! So much that everyone learns it!" The second chick replies cheerfully.
The Aeries would go and grab something. She returned with a book.
"I will tell you two, the story of The Warden War."

1000 Years Ago...

Omnibus and Serphelius sat together on a ledge in Flower Cove.
"Its so nice here, warm, peaceful, the sound of birds chirping, the Beezu's buzzing. It calms me so much." Serphelius said, watching a family of Brequewk eat from a berry bush, chirping and sharing with each other.

"There is probably a Mijusuma about to eat them all. Nowhere is safe." Omnibus responded, staring at the family.

Serphelius moved away from Omnibus, "Why would you say something so grim? We are supposed to be peaceful." He says, concerned.

Omnibus looks to the ground, "Maelstrom's personality is coming back to me I guess." He sighed.

"We don't speak of him anymore. He is dead and you shouldn't act like him anymore!" Serphelius hissed.

Omnibus knew this was a good time for the plan. He pushed Serphelius into the pond below with a splash, he flew in after him. Most of the creatures in flower cove ran away in a panic, but some watched the scene in terror, a dead Warden was one of the worst things that could happen.

Omnibus pushed Serphelius to the bottom of the pond but Serphelius opened his four jawed mouth and tried to bite Omnibus's claw but he quickly let go. Serphelius swam up to the surface, gasping for air. Omnibus grabbed ahold of his tail and tried to drag him down back into the water. The mouth on Serphelius's tail would bite down onto Omnibus's claw, badly injuring it and slowly turning the water black. Omnibus tried to drag him down again, but Serphelius kicked him hard in the face with his hooves. Omnibus was knocked out and sunk to the bottom of the pond, left to drown.

Serphelius wasnt injured except for minor scratches on his tail and head and he was very wet. Serphelius would fly to the other Wardens and tell them all, but hopefully Novus would drown.

"The Novus Warden is evil?" The male chick exclaimed.
"Well, not the current ones." Said their mom.
"Oh that's good mommy!" Chirps the female chick.
