Cold air kissed my face, ruffling my hair as I stood frozen in place, my mind racing as memories of my past seeped into my mind. I realized with dread that I was back at my father's mansion, my heart beating wildly in my chest as I knew what this meant...

In an instant I realised my hands had been tied behind by back, the sharp metal of the handcuffs digging into my skin. For the first time in a long time, I was terrified. My mind flashing with so many unanswered questions.

Where were the others?

Was Chan okay?

Was this really the end of my existence?

I scanned the familiar hall, the red curtains all draped shut, not a window open in sight. My head pounded from the impact back at the Choi mansion, as my chest still felt heavy from inhaling the fumes from the fire.

"Well? Where are you?" I called semi confidently, I knew he was here...watching me.

A sudden sharp crack pierced the silence of the old hall, like an explosion of sound as the large metal doors behind me swung open. Several of the Morelli men marched in silently - their heavy boots echoing through the hall's old marble tiles.

Before I could take in my surroundings, one of them came for me, his cold hands unlocking the metal handcuffs around my wrists. As he bent down, smug look on his face, I swiftly took my chance by slapping him across the face, the force of my palm sending him crashing to the marble floor. His smirk was replaced with an expression of sheer shock.

I watched as he quickly composed himself and lifted his gun into the air, ready to hit me with the end of it but was quickly interrupted by a booming familiar voice.

"Don't touch her, you know he wants her alive until he gets here"

My anger began to flare as I recognized the voice speaking behind me, the familiar tone grating on my nerves. I gritted my teeth, my jaw clenching with rage as I turned. Choi San, my ex-lover and ex-teammate, now my worst enemy, stood there before me as if nothing had happened.

I felt sick to my stomach just looking at his face knowing the pain he had caused me. He was my biggest traitor.

"You dare to show your face around me again, after everything you did. After what you took from me?!" I cried, my voice breaking as the pain seeped through the anger.

His face remained emotionless, not a shred of guilt or compassion for what he had done. If he even knew for that matter.

"You...you don't even know do you?" I spat again, taking a step forward as I was quickly stopped by one of the men.

"Alicia you belong here, not with those guys you call, family"

I stood there, unbelievable to what I had heard. He truly had no clue what else happened the day he betrayed us.

"I belong here? I never belonged here...if you had any idea you would know that.

Once again the large doors behind me opened, and as I turned to see who had entered, a welcome sight met my eyes. The face of the man I loved, being lead through the door, uninjured aside from a small scratch at his lip and handcuffs on his wrist.
