Leeann stayed the night but left pretty early, she had the day shift with her mom for the week so I won't be seeing her until 3 today unless I stop by. Last night was pretty cool. We started the new show Power: raising Kanan together and ate snacks all night then fell asleep soon after she set her alarm. My phone began to ring and it read "Lee 💙." I answered the phone while getting my clothes out for the day.
"Hey Lee, wyd?"
"Nothing, I just got finished giving my mom her food, she asked where I was last night and I told her I was with you so she asked to speak to you."
Me and mama Ann had grown a bond over those two months, she enjoyed my cooking and always put a smile on my face. When I found out that her leukemia was getting worse my heart broke. She always has something smart to say, and she's really funny. I love mama Ann.
"Hey mama Ann, how are you doing today?"
"Hey my baby, I'm doing fine, just a little colder than yesterday. Can you stop by and make me some of that chicken noodle soup, I haven't seen you in what? Two months? it'll really be nice."
"Yes ma'am I'm going to go run my Tuesday morning errands and then i'll be on my way, you know i don't have morning classes but when my last bell comes at 1:30 i'll leave then maybe come back, love you mamaa Ann bye-bye."
"Dang I can't get an I love you as well, childish."
"Love you Lee."
"I don't accept, see you when you get here peanut."
"Stop calling me that."
I hung up on her and got up and went to the bathroom and started my shower water. The speaker stays connected to my phone so I just went to my playlist. So high by doja cat started playing.
"You get me so high, You get me so high, I know you ain't a drug but you get me so high."
Finished my shower and got out and got dressed. I put on my yellow crop top, stacked black leggings and some yellow checkered slip on vans. I headed to my moms room to check on her.
"You okay ma?"
"Yea i'm good, can you go get me a caramel frappe and a hash-brown from McDonald's. I'll send you the money. "
"I got it ma, just when you go out today can you make some groceries for dinner tonight, I think I want to make stuffed shells."
"That's fine, love you see you when you get back. Got any plans for today?"
"Yes, going to go cook mama Ann some chicken noodle soup then go to class, come back and figure out what to do from there."
"Oka just let me know and tell mama Ann and Lee I said hi."
"Will do."
I left out of her room and made my way to McDonald's. The line was long as always but that was okay, I got her food and headed home. I took the food back to her and then headed to Lees house. I knocked on the door and Lee answered.
"Hey peanut, coming in?"
"No, I just came to stare into your home and breath the air that is around me outside of your house."
She put her hands on both sides of the door frame and tried to block my way as I tried to come in.
"Let me in fool."
"Fool for you."
And that's when I heard mama Ann laugh.
"It ain't gonna happen she's not interested loser."
