"Farewell!" I waved to my friends as I entered the bus. Class has recently ended early because of weather issues. And we got to go home early as well. I smiled at my friends who watched for my departure. They were kind enough to lend me their umbrella to use when I get off the bus. As the bus started moving, I leaned on the seat and stared at the window covered in raindrops. Usually, I would watch them race. But this time I decided to spend my time relaxing in the bus, daydreaming about a specific character from a netflix series i just watched, Five Hagreeves. How it would feel like feeling his presence beside me, being able to talk to him, and feeling them genuinely. It was some unrealistic daydream. I often heard people saying my standards are too unrealistic from basing them off fictional characters. But i couldn't care less, it's either that or i'm dying alone with no one with me but my daydreams.

After a while I stopped thinking, realizing I'm sounding a bit too delusional and crazy. I looked around my surroundings, thinking someone could be staring at me and reading my thoughts in the process. But everyone seems too busy with their phones to care about my flying thoughts. I exhaled a breath of relief knowing I was just being paranoid and leaned back to watch the window covered in fog and raindrops. A few minutes later, I arrived at my destination. I took the umbrella my friends lent to me and walked a bit further to arrive at my home. I've been thinking about rewatching the umbrella academy or just to take a nap. And rewatching umbrella academy seems fit to the rainy weather in our town.

I happily smiled and walked a bit faster as I saw my house. It really is a great feeling to be home after school, and the chilly rain made it better.

I knocked on the door, and waited for mom. I took off my shoes and socks in advance and properly positioned the umbrella near the door. A few seconds later my mom opened the door and I greeted her warmly. I went directly to my room with excitement since i'll be rewatching my favorite series again. It surely is a great afterschool moment to be able to lay on your bed and watch your favorite show on your laptop. I played the first episode of the series and hurriedly positioned myself to my preference.

As I watched some episodes of the series, I noticed something was a bit off in the scenes.

The handler was nowhere to be seen. "The handler is supposed to be in this scene, Or am I literally going insane for real?"

Then suddenly my laptop lagged. Frustrated, I aggressively tapped the space bar in an attempt to make any movement in my lagging laptop. But with no luck it was no use. As I was about to call for mom, A sudden feeling of fabric covered my mouth blocking me from making any noise.

" You certainly are unemployed." A woman said, Somehow her voice was familiar, A little too familiar, But i could not identify because of the flowing panic rushing all over my body. I could not move, no matter how i mentally try.

" Try to calm down for me, will you? Keep your lips glued shut and i'll run this transaction smoothly" The woman instructed as if i had the will to disobey her with my current circumstance. But nonetheless, I nodded. I watched as the clothed hand that blocked my mouth moved and revealed the woman who was, unexpectedly, in my room.

What caught my attention was her blonde hair and her composed sense of fashion. But this hit me, Is it..the handler? No, This isn't the handler. At that moment I wanted to slam myself into the wall for thinking such childish judgment during this ridiculous situation. The handler? How stupid.

"How vile of me to not introduce myself and come into your room unannounced, As you probably know already. It is I, the handler. And i am here to make business with you, child"

The woman said who claimed to be the handler.

Since I couldn't speak, I expressed my thoughts through my facial expression. In hopes she can clearly see that I don't wanna play any of her sick delusions. Handler? She's a great cosplayer that's one thing, but delusional

"Hah! Absurd I know, But to make myself clear. I am here to offer a job. But.." She stopped, looking at me head to toe before completing her sentence, "In advanced payment"

She smiled, Thinking her job offer is the greatest thing that can happen in someone's lifetime.

I looked at her curiously, With my face interpreting the question; "What job?"

"This job is not easy, but it has the best kind of payment. But this only applies if you have the will to take risks."
