Prologue

Vanessa's POV

"This is 5 Seconds of Summer!" My manager Sandra introduced, smiling brightly at me. I looked over at them, eyeing the 4 good looking boys. The teenagers awkwardly smiled at me, except for one that I was familiar with. I haven't seen him for a while, TV interviews as an exception, but he looked pretty much the same, but you can tell he has a new "style". I just hope he changed from his douche self from 2 years ago.

"I know who they are," I stated smoothly, crossing my arms across my chest and slouching a bit further down in my leather chair, "But why are they here?"

Sandra glared at me as if to say "be polite". I fake smiled, but quickly returned to my unamused frown. I didn't care what those egotistic pop stars thought of me. I needed answers as to why we were having this meeting. Aside from when I could be in bed at home, watching the last season of 'How I Met Your Mother' on Netflix.

"Well, I have some news for you," Sandra stated nervously, "5SOS's manager, Davis, has um, been seeing me for a while," I widened my eyes, not only in shock, but also in excitement. Me and Sandra have always talked about love and loving someone, I've only felt it twice, and since it didn't last both times, I haven't trusted it ever since.

"Um, he proposed." she stated, as a huge grin appeared on her face. I stood up and hugged her as I said a quick, but supporting "congrats!" but sat down again, waiting to hear more.

"So, we thought we should bring our music industry together," she continued cautiously, as if she said the wrong thing, I would explode like a bomb.

"So what's the point?" The blonde and blue eyed bandmate said, feeling that this meeting has gone on far too long. I eyed him suspiciously and he gulped. I flipped a piece of my long brownish-black hair over my shoulder, chuckled and turned my attention back to Sandra.

"Vanessa, you're going to have a little, vacation, uh, with this band."
