My Beginning

Imagine waking up one day,
Where the summer was actually fun;
Where the winter snow would fall graciously,
And where it would be perfect to go out and run.

But then imagine one day waking up,
Heat is nothing new;
Where you have no idea what to do,
And where friends were really few.

They were really few,
Until I met you;
The girl I deeply loved,
Who came into my life out of the blue.

And what I felt was confusing,
At moments I thought it was a mistake;
Others were pure confusion,
In the end those feelings were never fake.
Then patiently waiting,
For that perfect moment to be yours;
Being around you made my day,
Because I was near the woman I adore.

Then settings changed at the worst time,
We both were destined to fail;
As much as I tried my best,
We just couldn't prevail.

But hey, you were my beginning,
I was supposed to learn from it;
Well that is what logic states,
But I sincerely learned not even a bit.
