Arriving at the dining place, Amelia scanned her surrounding. A big room with lined plates that contains fruit and meat. Amelia held her grumbling stomach, letting out a sigh.
"Let's eat then.."
Walking towards the food area, the people, Atlanteans began to look at The detective with their judgemental stares. The girl could only ignore this and pretend to not feel the pressuring stares that's been hitting her.
As Amelia pick out some non-gluten food, a whisper could be heard from not too far away. "Why did the mortal survive? Such disgrace!"
The detective felt a knot form in her stomach. She didn't chose this, she didn't want this. She only wanted to converse the princess, that's all. And yet.. here she is.
After picking out her desired food, she went ahead to look for an available table or a seat. A smile slowly formed in her face. Sweat slowly drips down from her cheek. There was only 1 available seat left, And that is; beside the princess.
Amelia gulped. Oh how thrilled she feels as it slowly enter her veins. This was it. This is her chance. Slowly but proudly, the detective walked towards the princess' table. Placing her plate of food and settling down, silence took over.
Amelia who was proudly walking over to the princess's table is now feeling awkward by the utter silence around them. The girl slowly glances up to the shorter girl's way.
There she sees an elegant aura surrounding her. Although her way of sitting is inappropriate, Amelia once more felt smitten for her.
Those lazy ocean blue eyes and her sharp teeth chewing the meat into pieces, the way she glances the crowd left and right, her beautiful white dress that is merged with the color blue down to her dress. Everything of it, she felt smitten. Amelia, the time traveling detective could not help but admire this girl Infront of her as she took glances of every crowd in the room.
The princess, Gura could not help but feel the intense stare that's being thrown at her right now. She glanced at the girl Infront of her. Gura had never properly looked at the potential partner, she had never have any interest in them. The princess's only interest is their strength and their way of fighting. It is well respected indeed.
The moment Gura glanced at Amelia, the detective flinched, bowing her head down to avoid eye contact. Gura huffed. What a pity. Is what she thought. She wanted to see what her potential partner would look like. The girl could only shrug and go back to looking at the crowded area. Amelia on the other hand had a confused expression on her face. What was she doing? Didn't she want to talk to the princess? Why did she look away? So many questions popped up to Amelia's head yet, it's unanswered.

The place becomes rowdier as their meals have been fully consumed. Gura stood up, grabbing everyone's full attention. The princess faked a cough and began to speak.
"Today, you all are to be hunting outside our city. Soldiers are included. If not one of you are with a single beast, you may as well be starved for a week. I suppose you lots know the situation outside our city, am I correct? If so, no need to warn you all."
What does she mean by that? Is there something outside that she did not encountered? Is what's in the Detective's thoughts are. A sigh was let out from her mouth, not wanting to think of anything else anymore.
They all went out, same as the Amelia as she followed along.
