Bon grumbled as he woke up, feeling warmer than normal. He didn't remember anything from last night, just a vague sense of lesbian judgement and amusement. Sitting up, Bon rejected it as he head span.
Beside him, Rin whined, reaching out tiredly as he tried to pull Bon back in.
For a second, Bon panicked. Then he saw they were both fully dressed, and his panic wavered. Bon collapsed next to Rin, humming as Rin nuzzled into his side. "Too bright."
Bon chuckled softly. "It's the sun."
"Turn it off." Rin finally forced his eyes open, looking at Bon tiredly. "What happened?"
"I think Ms Kirigakure gave us the wrong drinks."
Rin paused for a second. "Oh, good. I thought someone attacked me in my sleep again." Rin let out a pained sound as he forced himself up, picking up his phone.
"What is it?"
"It's Kayo. Apparently, it's a hangover cure."
Bon frowned. He just remembered where that feeling of lesbian judgement came from. "We were on call with your mums when we got drunk!" Bon cursed, covering his eyes. Neither of them had discussed how to approach the parents. At least it was Rin's family and not Bon's.
"Are you mad?"
Bon took a breath. "Kind of. More at Kirigakure." Bon paused as different memories floated to the surface. "There is no way your parents don't know."
Rin bit his lip nervously. "Does that upset you?"
Bon looked over at Rin, his expression softening. "Of course not. I just... there was a ton of better ways to tell them."
Rin chuckled, happily taking Bon's hand. "Oh yeah. I am so grounded."
Bon laughed with Rin before he let out a content breath. "We should get up."
"No. Everything's still spinning."
"More reason to try that mystery cure."
Rin huffed, letting Bon pull him up. "I'm getting changed first."
Bon looked down at himself as he laughed awkwardly. "Good shout. Damn, my hair is a mess."
Rin grinned and stepped forward. "I think it looks good." Rin ruffled Bon's hair as he snorted.
"That's good 'cause it doesn't get much more fixed than this."
They laughed together as Bon rolled his eyes. "We need to get better at leaving when we intend to cause the last three times have just ended up with having an extra eight conversations."
Rin snorted, wrapping his arms around Bon. "What's wrong with that?"
"Nothing. Nothing at all." Bon leaned down, kissing Rin's lips as he hummed happily.

Shima chuckled as he walked into the room. Rin and Bon were sitting next to each other with a hung-over Toyoji on the other side. "I hate this. Why do adults do this?"
Rin smiled softly, passing a drink to Shima. "I don't get it either. You remember much?"
Toyoji shook his head as Shima smirked. "Not even calling me pretty a hundred times?"
Toyoji squeaked, shooting up as he saw Shima sitting beside him. "Shima?!" Toyoji fidgeted, shifting his eyes away. "What exactly did I say?"
Shima shrugged. "You kept calling me pretty and something about wanting to chop off my arm and cook it."
