Introducing
Milo, 23, Mia, 23 and Ray, 24,
They are all students in college and Ray and Milo share an apartment

"M, I really don't think this is a good idea." Mia said worridly bouncing on the balls of her feet as she stared at her brother, submerged in the cars trunk. "Mia you worry too much. He'll love it." Milo answered, as he reappeared carrying two bags full of snake food. Mia stared doubtfully at the cage that was left for her to carry. She turned to ask Milo to swap but he had already walked away and was fighting gravity while trying to retrieve his keys with two giant bags on the edge of the doors stone steps. She sighed and gingerly grabbed the cage. The snake inside shifted, but didn't react otherwise. It was a beautiful thing, with emerald scales and dark green patterns all over its long, thin body. It's eyes stared measly at her, and she looked away, hurriedly locking the car and hobbling over to Milo. "Aw damn." He said laughing as he dropped the keys onto the steps. "I'll take the bags then, you take the snake." Mia said eagerly, but he shook his head, retrieved his keys and unlocked the door. If they weren't poor students they would be home, but they happened to live on the 7th floor of the apartment building. Mia entered hurriedly, leaving Milo to fight the door as it chased him through its entrance. She impatiently pushed the elevator button, looking down at the snake anxiously. Milo appeared behind her, grinning guiltily, "Did I mention the elevators broken?" Mia stared at him in disbelief, before trudging to the stairs in a resigned fashion. They slowly climed the steep winding stairs and ended up panting at the dark blue front door. Milo started rummaging around on his pockets, before turning back to Mia empty handed. "Milo-" She started before her interuppted her yelling "I swear I had it a couple seconds ago!" He started searching, before Mia got impatient. "Take your snake and ill pick the lock, it's easy." She said holding out the cage. Milo shook his head, and instead held out his bags. " I'll do it! I don't want you breaking our lock after all." He said determinedly. Mia sighed and grabbed the bags. This left her in a very uncomfortable position, both her hands were full with the bags so the cage balanced precariously on her wrists. She had no choice but to keep it from wobbling but by placing her chin down on it. The snake rose slowly, staring at her. She shivered and when Milo finally pried the door open she rushed in and dumped the bags and cage on the kitchen table. "Sorry about this." Milo said, grinning his hand scratching his head. Mia just shook her head before walking to the door. "Your lucky I'm in a good mood." She said before she exited, as she was closing the door she called out "Remember Ray doesn't like snakes." The door shut, and Milo was alone. He sat down at the table, sticking his fingers through the cage. The snake inspected them, before slithering past them. "You're a beauty, ey?" He whispered running his fingers along her scales. The snake hissed. He got up, "rays gonna love you, he's dead scared of snake but he's gonna love you." He said as he moved the cage to the living room coffee table. He settled himself on their bright yellow couch and waited for Ray to come home. 5 minutes later, the lock clicked and Ray appeared, his dark brown fringe flopping in his eyes. "How was class?" Milo asked, waiting for Ray to notice the snake. " boring as ever, old Mr Morris wouldn't shut up about his cat, we didn't learn anything and I have a dozen useless facts about his cats favourite food. I picked up groceries." Ray called back from the kitchen where he was unloading the groceries. " come in here, I got a surprise." Milo said, excitedly. Ray walked in, his coat folded over his arm. He looked cluelessly at Milo until he noticed the cage. He took a step forward to examine it before jumping in fear. He leaped onto the dark blue armchair, and crouched on it as if he was playing the floor is lava. He threw his coat on top of his cage and stared at Milo, awaiting an explanation. Milo yankedbthe coat off the cage, shushing the agitated snake before opening the cage door. Ray let out a little scream and jumped onto the table behind the coach. " oh come on Ray, look how cute he is!" Milo said, gesturing at the snake, which was staring straight at Ray. Ray knocked over the lamp next to him and swore loudly as he fell into the floor. "Aww shoot man!" Milo yelled standing up, " whyd you knock over that lamp." Ray got up and stared angrily at Milo, "I didn't do it on purpose." He said his eyes shifting to the cage. All the commotion had scared the snake and it had shivered out op its cage on to the table. Milo reached out to pick it up, but it hissed angrily and seemed prepared to bit him. Ray, in a moment of bravery, grabbed his coat and tried to wave the snake in, but the snake, scared and confused dashed out of the living room into Rays open room. Milo chased after it before slamming the door shut. " Shoooooooot!" He yelled, angrily, sliding his back down the door. Ray sat do next to him, he seemed to have calmed down. " how the flip do we get that snake out of my room?" He asked. Milo shrugged, "bribery?" He suggested. "What if we lure It out?" Ray suggested. Milo shrugged and grabbed a handful of snake food. Ray prepared himself to open door. Milo counted down on his fingers and Ray gently opened the door. The room was still and silent. The two stared inside, and Ray jumped as he saw an emerald shape move just underneath his blankets on his bed. He grabbed a dust pan and broom, just in case, you know. Milo gently sprinkled some food on the landing and they waited. Slowly, the snake approached. They both hid behind the door, carefully watching as it ate its food. Ray let out a small squek of feat and it lifted its head, looking straight in their direction. He gave up. Swinging his broom wildly he chased the snake round and round his couch. Milo screamed at him to go to the corridor and Milo chased it there. The front door was wide open and with a yell, Ray chased the snake out of their house. The front door slammed shut, but the battle wasn't over yet. The snake hissed angrily, and lunged for Ray. He scopped it up in his dustpan and shoved it torwards the stairs. It shot down them, Ray screaming and brandishing the broom the whole way down. Milo ran after them, barely able to breath because he was laughing so hard. He jumped ahead and opened the door, just as the snake shot out and  disappeared into a nearby bush. Milo grinned happily at the disheveled Ray. Bonking him on the head with the dustpan, Ray headed inside before shutting the door on Milo.
