Confessing my crush. . .

Chapter 2. . .

I have been going to school for about 3 months now, and it has been astonishing. I have discovered I have major feeling for Altas. Everytime I see him in the halls. My face gets red.

Ruby, Isle and I are storming thru the halls, casually minding our own businesses. Isle randomly asked:

"Hey y/n?

"Ya" I said.

"Do you like anybody here?" she asked as we walked.

"Um maybe" I said as my cheeks got pinker.

"Ooohh, I knew it! You have to tell me who!" she said delighted.

"Ha no, I'll never tell you" I said smiling.

Ruby changed the subject, because she knew I was getting uncomfortable.

Throughout the day, Ruby and Isle hardly spoken to me since the conversation we had earlier.

After school. . .

School has just ended, and Ruby finally came up to me and asked if I wanted to hangout with her.

"Hey y/n" she said.

"Hey" I said.

"You down to hangout" she asked casualty.

"Sure" I said smiling.

We went over to her house to hangout. Her mom greets Ruby and I. They have a small little conversation before we head upstairs to her room.

"Hey mom" Ruby said.

"Hey kiddo" Ruby's mother replyed.

"We will be upstairs if you need anything" Ruby leading the way towards her room.

We enter her room. It was like a very cozy, warm colors, decorated well.

We spent a few hours in her room. Ruby and I had eventful conversations of all sorts of things.

"Y/n" she asked.

"Ya Ruby, what's up" I said.

"You know you can tell me who your crush is right?" she said curiously.

"Yes I know. I'll tell you under one condition" I stated.

"Yea what is it" she gleamed into my eyes.

"You can not tell Isle until I am ready too" I say.

"Okay ofcouse, this stays between us" she commanded.

We sit in silence for a few moments. While I try and figure out how to say it.

"Okay so" I pause with a sign underneath my breath.

"I like. . . Altas" I finally say.

Ruby sits there paused for a moment, trying to corporate the words that just came out my month.

"You mean the 12th grader" she stated.

I started at her as I slowly shook my head up and down, agreeing with her statement.

She looked at me concerned.

"Oh uh. . ." was the only words she was able to spit out her month.

I just stared waiting for her to reply in a better, more positive response.

We both sat there in silence for quite some time. She finally spoke:

"Y/n" she said in a disappointing voice.

I stared until she continued.

"He is a dick. He hates everybody, plus he is really popular. I just don't think it is a good idea." her sentence trailed off.

I looked away when she finished. She touched my shoulder and proceeded to apologize:

"I am sorry y/n. I didn't mean to upset you. If he truly makes your dreams or whatever you have with him, happy then I am here supporting you 100%" she said smiling.

I look at her and started to smile.

"Thank you Ruby" I replyed.

It was getting late so I texted my mom and asked if I could spend the night.

"Hey mom" I sent

"Yes honey" she replyed.

"Can I spend the night at Ruby's" I texted.

"Yea ofcouse, just be safe" she sent.

"Okay thanks mom, I love you" I said.

Ruby gave me extra clothes to change into. As I got dressed Ruby made the bed so we both could sleep in it.

Ruby and I stayed up a little bit later and talked for a bit before we went to bed.

Next day. . .

Ruby and I the next day decided to go to the mall. On are way to the mall Ruby and I saw Isle talking to Altas. It had looked like they were in a flirtation conversation.

Ruby and I walked over to Altas and Isle.

"Hey Isle" Ruby commented.

"Oh, hey Ruby and Y/n" Isle said.

Altas commented to:

"Hey Ruby" as he waves at her.

Ruby and them talk, while I go and wonder around in the mall.

Ruby soon realizes that I had missing. She constantly kept texting my phone to see where I had gone.

"Y/n where did you go?. . . Everything alright? . . . Text me ASAP! . . ." she texted.

A few hours later. . .

I had put my phone on silent. I didn't even realize the time until I now checked. I have received at least 50 messages for Ruby and a few other notifications. I checked the time and it is 5p.m.

I started to walk home. Until I ran into Altas.

My heart started to rise. It was beating really fast I almost couldn't breath.

"Oh my god, I am sorry." Altas's sweet toned voice said.

"Oh your good" I replyed.

"Oh your the new girl in our school" he proceeded to say.

"Yea I am" I commented.

"Oh well I never got your name?" he said unsettled.

"Oh, it's y/n" I said anxiously.

"Ah nice to meet you Y/n" he said smiling.

He pulls out his phone and hands it to me.

"Can I get your number. We can hangout and get to know each other if that's cool with you" as he handed his phone to me.

"Yea sure" I say while putting in my number.

"Thanks" he said as waving and walking away.

I started to walk home again. Completely trying to corporate on what the hell just happened.

As I got home I went straight up to my room without saying anything to my parents.

I got in bed, thinking if he is ever going to text me. I am pretty sure I got home late at night so I got ready for bed.
