Another romance chance. . .

Chapter 14. . .

Months later has gone by. Altas and I have gotten hella close. Camden has Maeve this weekend. I had gone and hanged our with Ruby who I hadn't seen since last year. We went to the mall and stayed at her house for a night.

The following monday. . .

Camden had came over with Maeve. It was time for Maeve to have quality time with both of her parents.

I heard a knock on my door. I got up off my couch and went to go open the door. It was Maeve and Camden "Oh my god, Hi angel" I said with excitement. I was handed Maeve and Camden walked in. He had shut the door behind him as he walked in.

"Oh god, did you grow any bigger" I said to Maeve.

She giggled. It was adorable. She was 6 months old. I placed her on the floor so she could play. Camden had sat on the couch.

I sat down with him.

"So how are you" he asked curious.

"Uh, I am good. How about you?" I asked.

He paused for a moment.

"Look, I need to get this off my chest. But I like you, like really like you" he confesses.

I stared at him. Not knowing what to say, I was shocked. I had tried to speak but nothing came out my month.

"Y/n are you okay" he stared at me starting to get worryed.

I finally spoke "Yea. But here's the thing. I don't have the same feelings that you have for me. I am sorry, I like someone else" I told him.

He looked at me upset. Like I had broken his heart, well technically I did but, at least I tried to break it in not the worst way.

"O-Oh, I am sorry for telling you" he said, getting up and walking towards the front door.

I had tried to speak, but I was interrupted by the front door slamming. Maeve had started to cry, over the door slam.

I picked her up to calm her down "Shhhh. . . It will be okay" I tell her.

A few days later. . .

I had not heard from Camden since he had given me Maeve. I actually starting worry. I left him tons of texts, calls, ect.

Altas has asked to come over today. I allowed it since I missed him.

20 minutes later. . .

A knock appeared from the front door. I went to open it, thinking it was Altas. It wasn't, It was Camden. "Hey. . . I am sorry, I needed time to myself" he told me.

I started at him "Your good, I understand" I said.

He left with Maeve, to make it up with him leaving her a few days ago.

I waited patiently for Altas to arrive. I felt like I was going insane with how bad I wanted to see him.

Moments of waiting and a knock has happened. I rushed straight to the door. I opened it to see Altas "Hey beautiful" he said in an eventful tone.

"Hey" I said.

He walked inside, I closed the door behind him. He smiled at me and hugged me. I hugged back and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"I missed you" I said, walking towards the living room. He followed behind me.

"I missed you too" he says.

We both sat down on the couch. "So uh. . ." his sentence trailed off.

I stared at him confused as fuck.
