AVERY'S POV:

I sat in bed for maybe an hour or two after Toto left. I need to get stuff done for work. Since I'm covering the newsletter and the new social media posts, I'm booked. I walked out to the kitchen and grabbed my computer bag, and filled my cup. Cold. Just my luck. I sighed and left the cup on the counter, and walked back to my room. I sat down and opened my laptop. A few hours went by, and I finished the newsletter and got a few posts up. I always hated posting stuff for our social media accounts, I'm better at writing newsletters and setting up meetings. I sighed. Maybe I should quit, become a reporter or something. Just a job where I can write more. I've always wanted to be a reporter, but while I was looking for a job, Stella told me there was an opening at Mercedes, and I needed the money. It was only supposed to be a few months, but here I am two years later, still working for Mercedes. I've been talking to a few people about reporting, and someone said they might be able to get me a job at Sky Sports, but there's a very small chance that I'll even get an interview.

"Fucking hate this job.." I whispered and closed my laptop. I need to pack. The Austrian Grand prix is in a week, but I have to fly out in two days. I looked around my room and frowned. My suit cases lined the back wall below the window, clothes pouring out of them. My nightstand was scattered with papers, glasses, books and a few makeup products. My vanity was messy, with my beauty products scattered around. My room was a mess. Maybe I'll clean it up when I get back, or today. I need to empty one of the suitcases anyways so, might as well. I yawned and stretched, pushing my legs out and leaning backwards. I slumped over and grabbed my phone. Music. I put on my favorite playlist and got up, throwing my phone on the bed. Grabbing one of the suitcases, I began to unpack. I sorted everything by color. Reds, oranges, yellows, greens, blues, purples, pinks, browns, blacks, and whites. The clothes went in a certain order. Dresses, pants, skirts, shorts, shirts, tee- shirts and crop tops. Oh, and work clothes had their own little section. I checked the time and sighed. I have 6 hours until Toto comes back and expects me ready for dinner. Maybe I'll cancel, or ask if we can just stay in. I continued to organize my room for a few more hours. I plopped down on my bed and sighed, happy with the worked I'd done. I leaned back and felt the suitcase behind me. I turned around and glared down at my suitcase, as if it was the suitcases fault it wasn't packed yet. I opened it up and started to put clothes in it. Work shirts, pants, shorts, a pretty dress, a pair of heels and a pair of comfortable tennis shoes. I threw some of my makeup products in a bag and threw the bag in my suitcase.

A few hours

I sat on my couch and caught up on my favorite TV show. Toto walked in with a grin on his face. I turned around and smiled seeing him.

"Whats with that smirk, mister?"

"We are going on a drive." He walked over to the couch and looked down at me.

"Toto, I said I wanted to stay in." He nodded.

"I know. Just a quick drive." He persisted  and I sighed, turning off the TV.

"You're very pushy." I stood up and walked back to my bedroom.

"Is that a good thing?" He asked as he followed closely behind me. He leaned on the doorframe and watched me look through my clothes.

"Maybe. Depends who you ask." He chuckled. "Is it chilly?" I asked, looking through my hoodies.

"It's a bit nippy." I nodded and pulled out a hoodie and sweats. Toto frowned.

"What?" I asked, putting on the hoodie. "It's not like anyone's going to care." I put on the sweats and slipped on a pair of tennis shoes. He walked out and opened the door. I followed him and put my phone in my pocket.

"After you, m'lady." He motioned for me to go first, and I smiled.

"Well, thank you, sir." I walked out, and he locked the door behind him. He offered his arm, and I took it.

"Hey, weird question. Why isn't your table set up yet?" He looked over at me.

"I moved in less than a week ago, I haven't had enough time to set it up yet. Plus, I don't think I can set it up alone."  I chuckled.

"I could always stop by after work and help you set it up." I smiled and looked up at him. I put my hand on his.

"Thats very nice, Toto. I might take you up on that." He nodded and smiled. He reached his car and he opened the door for me. I got in and looked up at him.

"Why are you being so nice?" He shrugged.

"I just feel like it." I chuckled and he shut the door, walking over to the other side of the car. Toto started the car and glanced over at me.

"So, where are we going?" I folded my hands and set them in my lap.

"That's a surprise." He responded without looking away from the road.

"Really?" I frowned, and he looked at me.

"Yes, really." He looked back at the road. I sat there, scrolling through my phone. I like surprises, but I barely know Toto. I mean, I know him, but I don't know know him. I don't know if he'll take me to a creepy warehouse and kill me, or take me to a nice dinner. I looked over at Toto.

"But, actually, where are we going?" He chuckled and glanced over at me.

"And I'm the pushy one?"

"Oh come on, you're the one who made me come on the drive." I said, and he sent me a glare.

"It's a surprise, Avery." I put my hands up in surrender and continued to scroll on my phone.
