Daniel Allen was nothing like his twin brother, Barry. Yeah they looked alike and they were the same age but Barry was the smart one and Daniel was the sarcastic one. They both lead normal lives. Barry was a forensic scientist for the Central City Police while Daniel worked at Jitters alongside his adoptive sister, Iris and his brother's crush. Disaster strikes when both brothers are struck by lightning from the Particle Accelerator. The twins wake up 9 months later in S.T.A.R Labs, under the supervision of Harrison Wells and his employees, Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow. Daniel and Barry soon discovered that from that lightning they earned superpowers. Both brothers begin to help the city by becoming The Flash and his sidekick, The Transformer. Let's just say that, Daniel doesn't like being a sidekick.
