Chapter 2 - Redemption

In the magnificent old castle, a young man from the West and a boy from the East sitting at a long wooden dining table, seeming to be discussing a serious topic.

The fair-skinned, deep-featured, brown-haired and blue-eyed young man poured a glass of red drink to the oriental boy with long black hair.

"Don't you think she is pitiful? It's not her fault." Claudius knows, the girl will be back soon. "This is not my fault." Gently wipe off the bright red liquor on the corner of his mouth, Alaric, who tied his long black hair at the back of his head, lightly road.

Looking at Alaric whose face was paler than white paper, Claudius understood that he is true.

"Yes, you are all right. Wrong, the wrong lies in human greed read." Claudius sighed faintly.

"But, if the other party came as agreed, you wouldn't do anything to her, would you?" Seeing Alaric with a blank face, Claudius was really worried that he would kill and eat the girl.

"I think, I should not be as cruel as you imagined." Alaric looked at the remaining red liquid in the cup and smiled slightly. That smile was like a devil's smile. "But you are not as kind as I imagined." Claudius raised his eyebrows.

"Forget it, it's none of your business. I just need to take care of you good." Claudius understands that many things cannot be explained clearly in a few words. Perhaps, this is their fate. Although Claudius sympathizes with that girl very much, he also understands that Alaric's suffering is something that ordinary can't understand.

Well, whose fault is it all?

Certainly not him.

Claudius sighed.

Today is Candace's 16th birthday.

The bell rang at midnight in the middle of the night, and Jesline's mother turned pale immediately after receiving a phone call and shed tears. She knew that the day has come.

"Mommy, don't cry anymore." Candace wiped away the tears from Jesline's mommy's face gently. And Candace, whose eyes were starting to turn red, felt a burst of sadness in her heart.

It seems that if they say goodbye today, they will never see each other again.
