Chapter 4

-give it a chance-

"I told you they will agree." He smirks proudly. Proud at himself.

"But honey... I felt bad lying at y/n like this. Can't you see she was worried about you." As a mom of course she doesn't like it if her child is crying her heart out like that.

"I know darling but it's not like we choose a horrible person for her. Hoseok is the nicest guy I've ever seen." He kinda feels a little bit selfish in this situation but he doesn't know why he is really sure about his decision.

"Hani yaaa. Don't worry I will make sure my son treats your daughter nicely. I will be the first person to beat him up if he fuck up." Mr Jung was not lying when he said that. Y/n might be a little immature since she is young but he knows y/n is a kind person.

(Y/n pov)

I keep rolling on my bed and can't sleep. I can't when I know my papa is fighting for his life. I hope the surgery went well. He is as precious as my mama to me.

'knock²'. "Can I come in?" It's Yoongi, he probably can't sleep too. "Come in...." He opens the door and smiles at me. When he got closer he sat beside me on my bed.

"Can't sleep huh?" I nod at his question and I'm sure he knows why.

"Don't worry y/n,, papa will be fine. And I have a question for you..." I get up and sit beside him. Curious about what he wants to ask me. "What is it?" He takes my hand in his and looks at me. "Are you sure about your decision?". I thought for a while about it ,what kind of decision? Then, i remember the promise I made.

"Idk. I just want papa to be safe and healthy again." I put my head on his shoulder trying to seek comfort from him since mama is not here. He pulled me closer and placed his arm around my shoulder. He might be annoying sometimes but he is still a responsible son and a good brother to me .

"If you are sure about your decision. Don't worry. Hoseok is not a bad guy even though he looks like that." Then, I realized something. He is Uncle Jiwon's son.

"Anyway, I never knew he was Uncle Jiwon's son."

"You know him?" Yoongi stares at me weirdly. Well I never know Prof.Jung is his friend. Both of them are annoying,,guess that's why they can be friends.

"He is my professor in business administration class." Yoongi just nodded at my answer.

"Sleep princess, you have classes to attend tomorrow. "

"Can I skip the classes just for tomorrow pleaseee? I'm not in a good condition to study at this time. "

"Okay princess. Just sleep." When i close my eyes Yoongi hummed a melody that he used to sing for me when we were kids. Every time I can't sleep at night I will go to him. But when i grow up I just deal with it. It's just tonight... I don't think I can handle this alone.

~the next day~

"Papa....."
It feels great to see him today. Mama said the surgery went well. I just know that papa has a heart problem,,,he seems just fine before this. That's not important because the most important thing is my papa is healthy again.

"Hi princess. " He answered me weakly. I don't feel like letting him go,,afraid that he might leave me. All this time my family was just fine and perfect but last day really terrified me.
