LuvFatima.M~ Expectation breaks heart.
"Huh" hakim was completely taken back by what fatima said "Can you repeat that again"
"I said i'm pregnant"
"How you found that out did you take a test to be hundred percent sure"
"I did, Before lori dropped me off we passed by the store and i bought the pregnancy test and when i got home i took two"
"Do you have more because i need to be sure"
"What you need to be sure about i already told you i took two and you still want me to take another one" Fatima said now becoming more aggravated
"Yes fatima go take go take another one"
Getting off the bed fatima walk to the bathroom grab another box of pregnancy test from on top of the counter, She took out one and close the door before taking it after fatima was done she placed it on the counter and washed her hands and open the door
"You finish were is it"
"It right there you still have to wait three minutes anyways"
Pacing around the room "Oh my god this can't be happening right now" hakim said as he kept peeking at the pregnancy test to see if it's finish
"Why are you acting like this"
"Because i ain't ready for no kids fatima and i'm pretty sure you ain't ready either"
"We may not be ready now but we still have time to get ready and learn"
"No fatima if that's what you want then that's you i ain't ready and i'm not planning on getting ready i'm only 25 i don't need kids right now" Hakim said slightly raising his voice
"Is it that you don't want kids now or you don't want them with me because we are both the same age i have a whole career shit is going good for me outside of this relationship and i'm not complaining"
"If our relationship isn't good why are you still in it you have you had many opportunities to leave"
"You always say that but as soon as i look to leave you come running back begging me to stay" Fatima said as tears run down her cheek
"Whatever fatima, I'm just telling you i'm not ready right now if that the case"
"Well i'm sure it's done you can look now "
He looks at the pregnancy test and sees that it says positive and just shakes his head "We could talk about this again in the morning i'ma go stay with my cousin for the night"
"You just got home and it's late"
"I know that but i just need sometime to clear my head"
"You know what do what you gotta do because nothing i say is going to change your mind"
"Yeah goodnight"
Hakim went into the cloth set took some of his clothes put it in a duffle bag and left out of the house, Fatima couldn't believe that just happen because they both talk about having kids, Yeah maybe right now wasn't the right time since they been arguing a lot lately but she didn't think he would react like that and leave the house fatima just laid in her bed and cried her self to sleep
*The Next Morning*
Today fatima just wanted to stay home a relax, Now that it isn't just her she was to think about she doesn't wanna over work herself. After having the strength to come out of bed fatima made her way down the hallway to the kitchen to make something to eat
As fatima was about to take out the eggs there was a knock on the door she know it wasn't hakim because he has a key he would have let himself in placing the eggs on the kitchen counter she made her way to open the door
"Look who it is i felt like i haven't seen y'all in years" Fatima said moving out the way so they can come in
"Now don't be exaggerating you saw me three months ago"
Laughs "I know i'm just play even though that was still long i'm so happy you guy's are here" Fatima said as she hugs her brother and sister
"We know you would be" Karia said taking a seat on the couch
"Were is dawson"
"Remember he working on opening a club in new york so handling some business there" Travis said as he walk to the kitchen
"Oh yeah he told me about that its moving fast"
"Not really he still tryna figure out a location"
"Okay"
"Where is the other one i haven't seen him or heard him" Travis said trying to read his sister face as he ask
"He's not here at the moment" Fatima said as she puts the eggs in the pan
Getting up from the chair and joining them "So where is he"
"What's with all the question by the way how did y'all know i was home today"
"I called lori and she told us you were home today something about you needing to relax"
"Yeah i'm just taking some time off the relax that's all, Can you remind me i have to call lori"
"Sure"
While making breakfast and talking to her sibling fatima saw the front door open she automatically know who it was, Trying to act like she didn't see him fatima continue to do what she doing in the first place
Seeing her sibling there as he walked in hakim walked in the kitchen and said hello before leaving he asked fatima to speak to her privately, She told her sibling she would be back and followed hakim to their room
"What do you want" Fatima said coming into the room and taking a seat on the bed
"Can we not do this while they are here, I just wanna say i'm sorry for how i acted last night even though that's really how i felt i feel like i shouldn't have acted like that"
Rolls her eyes before speaking "I understand it's not the right time but it could turn out to be really good maybe it could build our love for each other even more"
"Maybe it could" hakim said still being cold towards fatima
"Did you eat because i'm making breakfast now do you want anything"
"Nah i'm good i ate before i came here"
"Okay i'ma go back and join them before they start to call me"
