An hour had passed, Sofia had fell asleep but was awoken by yelling and loud music and feeling the floor move below her. Brent still was missing so she decided to look for him. She saw a bunch of people upstairs kissing and her and her mom's room door was closed. She headed down the stairs and saw even more people dancing and in the pool. She squeezed her way through the crowd and thought she saw Brent so she tugged on the man's shirt. He looked down in confusion, "Yo, who the fuck brought their fucking child? Whoever did is a goddamn dick." She didn't know what that meant but she knew they weren't nice words so she walked away. All the yelling stopped and people were staring at her. She saw Brent finally, he was holding a red plastic cup and had some girl in his lap and they were eating each other's faces off. She went up to him and tapped his arm. He broke off his contact with the girl and his bloodshot eyes shot open more.

"What are you doing here?" His breath smelled really bad but the whole room smelled that way. It was gross and giving her a headache. "I don't feel good Brent." He rolled his eyes, "what do you think i can do about that? huh? none of us will tomorrow. it's just life. cry to your mommy about it." The girl on his lap snickered. "Why are you being mean Brent?" Her eyes watered as tears slowly fell down her cheeks, "You're supposed to be watching me." "Just go back to your room." She ran off, a bunch of people laughing at her, saying rude comments. "What a needy bitch." "what a fucking crybaby" "a goddamn mistake." She went up to Brent's room and cried till she fell asleep, head pounding.

About 30 minutes later, Pierson pulled into the driveway and saw a bunch of cars around the place, and she could hear loud music. She assumed that Sofia and Brent were having a dance party inside. Little did she know.
