"Wait..." I carefully whispered, my voice barely audible, as my hand instinctively reached out, gripping Hermione's arm. The expression in her eyes widened with surprise as I spun her back towards me, forcefully pressing her against the wall.
Her voice trembled with a hint of worry, barely escaping her lips, "What are you doing? Everyone will start to wonder where we've gone." I raised my hand above her head, leaning in ever so slightly to catch a glimpse of her intensified breaths. The effect I had on her, the way I made her nervous, sent a thrilling surge of desire through me. It was intoxicating, the power I held over her.
Leaning in closer, I allow my lips to linger near her ear, "Oh, darling, you'll need to loosen up a little bit if you're going to fall for me."
"I'm not falling for you," she retorts sharply, her head turning towards me, bringing her lips dangerously close to mine. In that split second, I catch the flicker of realization in her widened eyes, a mixture of surprise and curiosity dancing within them.
Smirking subtly, I hold my ground, testing the boundaries she unknowingly pushes. I ensure she notices my gaze dipping momentarily to her lips, lingering there for a moment before gradually rising to meet her captivating chocolate brown eyes.
This summer, she has undeniably become even more irresistible. Amidst the chatter of the others a few moments ago, my attention couldn't help but be captivated by her beauty. Her newfound confidence in her fashion choices cling to her hourglass curves, defining her every contour. The mere thought of her sends a shiver of anticipation coursing through my veins.
Raising my hand, I gently brush her cheek, my thumb caressing her bottom lip, "You'll be the death of me this year, Granger."
A whisper escapes her lips, her gaze meeting mine with unyielding determination. "Then consider it a victory for me," she breathes, her words laced with an alluring defiance that further fuels the flame between us. I smirk and pull myself away from her.
Hermione eased into a momentary state of relaxation, casting a glance over her shoulder at the door. "We should make our way down there," she said with a hint of urgency in her voice.
I responded by extending a gesture towards the door. "Ladies first," I offered, my eyes reflecting a spark of playful admiration.
She contemplated her response, her lips parting as if she intended to voice her thoughts, but instead, she nodded in agreement. Without delay, Hermione stepped forward, exiting through the doorway. Her determination was evident, and it brought a warm smile to my face as I followed after her.
*UPDATE*
It has been awhile since I have been on here... These last few months have been absolutely hectic with my classes and student teaching. However, since August, I have been dealing with some mental health concerns due to events that were out of my control. For once in my life, it was my turn to choose me and do what was best for me. And that meant letting go of some important people that were closest to me. Over the last few months I have been finding myself, and feeling like my true self again. And I am truly happy again.
With that... I want to start writing again. It may take me a little bit to go back through to see what I have written, especially now that I have different ideas that I would like to incorporate with this story. I also want to address that I will not be making TikTok's for this story as of right now. I do not want to overwork myself like I did when I first started this series. So I will only be working on writing the story for now :)
Thank you everyone who has reached out! You all mean the world to me. I love you all! Now let's get this story back on track, shall we?
